Yeah, if you don't get a grant like our friend here...
@@foilarmsandhog It's especially jarring when you're trying to get a job as a TA, and end up paying to work impossible hours.
My son found out that too. He wanted to go to Canada as an intern in my friend's company but couldn't afford it, so he spent a few months in Finland instead. I've got the impression that even foreign students are not ripped off there.
"I don't know anything about Luxembourg."
"Nobody does!"
Hey, I know *one* thing about Luxembourg...
Oooh! What is it? 😃
@@anniesoernym I feel like other comments have explained the joke for me, I would feel silly doing it myself. 😂
The professor is just so helpful I can't believe it. Honestly if the Irish professors are half as supportive I'd put Ireland right at the very top of my considerations.
it is exactly the points you have to take in consideration!
As a former exchange student this is so relatable. Specially wanting to be away so my parents couldn't visit but not to far to miss them that much 😂😂👏
I really can't unsee that as Granny's wig now and it's messing with my brain 😅🙈
I love how versatile the wooden panels in the background are 😂
Ahhh brilliant! I work for a study abroad provider so will show this round the office! Still laughing at models...modules! Hope all is going well with the new show!
One of my favourite bits. Actually I haven't thought about it much so right now it's #1!
Also... That's such a cool coincidence that being your job haha
Sooo.... New training video? 😁
@@felicitygee381 Great idea!!
I‘m from Switzerland and I can confirm that we have a Toblerone McFlurry!😋
This is the breaking news I didn't know I needed to hear. I'm so happy this exists
I'm not sure I've ever been this jealous in my entire life 😍😂
@@SamHOGISTHEBESTantha Oh Sam…😂
Loving the quick fire subtle jokes
They're the best at those!
Haha, love it! Any relation to Mrs. Geraghty? 😬 Loved the vlog on Patreon this week, so exciting to get a glimpse behind the curtain of how a show comes together. Happy Thursday!
There's a sketch here where all the other characters are in fact descendants of Mrs. Geraghty, head of a Godfather-like mafia family. You couldn't put it past her!
I'll do a few more so!
@@EmmaLiza We should pull together a chart of the FAH Cinematic Universe at some point, see how they all connect 😂
@@anna.popović that would send me straight into Charlie ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia mode, and I'm here for it.
My number one choice for studying abroad is Ireland, actually 😂
Oh really? well it's extremely expensive at the moment, but otherwise great
What! You mean to tell me that Foil Arms and Hog University isn't a real one?!
But I'm two years in and I really enjoy studying!
Brilliant sketch as always! Can't wait to see you guys in Edinburgh!
Please please check who's founding it. If you see Matt Matterson's name anywhere, RUN. He'll be overcharging you!
See you there Jenny
@@SamHOGISTHEBESTantha If anyone is going to overcharge me, I'd want it to be Matt. Matt's the way I like it!
@@SamHOGISTHEBESTantha Really? I didn't know that!
That‘s too real! Not wanting my parents to visit was the reason I ruled out the Netherlands 😂
I love the same wig for the mum works just as well for professor
Just wanted to mention, Greece has universities on its islands. 🌅🏊🏖️
As a skit actor in a previous life, with sometimes only a heads up the night before, I can totally relate to the use of a computer as an extremely vital tool...
I swear that screen was blank
Meanwhile I went to Ireland for my (first) semester abroad which was great even though it was autumn...
I’m going on a study abroad trip this coming semester to Japan, so this was relatable on more than just a comedic level! Keep up the good work, lads! Can’t wait for y’all to come Stateside! 🇺🇸🇯🇵
Japan is so interesting! Have a great time!
Oh! Before I go... They're going to North America in November. Have a look at their website, are there any dates there you could go to? 😃
Gannbatte kudasai! (がんばってください)
The drinking age in Japan is the same as the USA though!
@@worldcomicsreview354 In Japan it’s 20, in the US it’s 21!
Truly hysterical. Love from Toronto.
That was me, when I was explaining to my parents why a year studying in Indonesia was a grand idea 😂😂😂😂
Honestly? Ireland. I moved to Ireland for studying English in 2013 and I fell in love with the country and the people. Too bad I wasn't able to get a job there and ran out of money, so I had to move back to Brazil...
Nice sketch lads, I chuckled at the La Paz pun. And if Switzerland really has a Toblerone mcflurry I need to visit 😂
We do!😋
The Toblerone McFlurry doesn't seem to be available at the moment though. Also Toblerone/Mondelez just announced that they will produce their chocolate in Slovakia in the future, so it's not Swiss chocolate anymore. But Switzerland is a great country to visit anyways, just very expensive...
Omg I'm choosing this at the moment!!!!! Unfortunately Ireland is the same as the UK for you lads... too close! Scandinavia is looking very tempting at the mo tho 😆
"That's why it's so intriguing"
That face fits perfectly
Currently in Switzerland for a semester, can confirm about the Big Macs
As someone who is planning on studying abroad, i feel like this video is targeted at me...
Thanks for being their inspiration 😊
Now after watching the sketch, where would you say you'd go?
@@SamHOGISTHEBESTantha My sister and father want me to go to Canada and my mother wants me to go to the UK, i personally am not sure, i'll just have to wait and see which is better.
@@EternalFaith_ICXC Do you like the cold? Cause both are cold, just one's a bit colder.
I'm being very helpful now amn't I 😆
Well, best of luck no matter what Aaryan! Next time I see you round here, I'll ask you if you've decided yet 😁
Greetings from Mallorca! Only about 28º Celsius today!
