  • Here in this video you will learn how to take take effective notes that are organized and easy to articulate. Join me as I share examples of my own personal notes that helped get me from Failing to Acing my Chronic Health Class. This video helps new nursing students fearing how to actually study and retain information and student who want to improve their grade! Learn to organize your notes into different columns and rows that have detailed info for each disease/illness: (Note taking sections focuses on- Etiology/philosophy, clinical manifestations, medical/surgical management, Nurse Management/Assessments, Nurse Interventions)
Nursing school has its ups and downs and no one tells you how hard it is going to be, let alone how to get through nursing school with which tools to access. It came to a point for me whereI I had to reach out to tutoring and honestly this saved my nursing school career! In my chronic class (also called med surg 2) I failed my paper assignment which was suppose to be extra points towards my grade and I failed my fist exam!! Great way to start off the semester right? NOT! I was beyond stressed out, and I had no idea how I could turn my grade around since this was known to be one of the hardest classes in Johns Hopkins MSN program. Well I got a tutor!! and he saved my life. He taught me substantial tools on how to study, take notes, use my resources (books, google, professors, youtube university, and my TIME) effectively. Find out how these notes saved my life!!
