I really like the Bronco & the Colorado … would gladly take either one. Given that I need a truck more than a SUV; I lean towards a ZR2 for that reason. Definitely the best mid-size IMO & the Ranger Raptor is likewise great, but $$$.
If we were in need of a truck, we’d definitely put a ZR2 on our list! We were super impressed with how it did off-road, but also how nice and spacious the cabin space was! Great truck, and they look good too!
I came from Tony's channel. Had to see what you thought of the ZR2. Just bought one for xmas and have become friends with Tony. He gives great advice and love his videos. I will be watching you as well.
Hey! Thanks for checking us out too! I was really impressed with the ZR2! It performed really well, on pretty much every thing we did. I think Tony’s setup is just about perfect. Still easily and comfortably daily driven, but just enough lift to get a great set of tires on, which makes all the difference off-roading.
lol the pucker reminds us that we’re alive, right! 😂 Thanks bro! It was a fun trip for sure! We got into some mud too, but that’ll be another video. If you notice how clean they were in the beginning, and how you couldn’t tell what color they were at the end… there was some FUN in between 🫣
The Bronco does have larger tires, and lower gearing. The wheelbase difference definitely came into play… some obstacles the Bronco had a hard time where the ZR2 made it look easy, and others they switched. Both fun vehicles tho!
I hate that spot more than anything in the park! lmao I used the trail-turn-assist feature on it for the first time, and it helped… at least from in-cab feels anyway
They both lose? I guess I'll have to watch and see. ZR2 need some ponies under the hood. Sounds like it's giving birth. ZR2 looks like a full size. 👍👍👍IFS seems a bit flimsy generally speaking. I think the ride quality may offset the strength of a solid axle. I drive 3/4 ton train car. I do have 3" king coilovers and 3" Bypass in the back. 3" bypasses sound like the leaf springs are coming off. No joke. Steel valves. Hope much success on the channel. You seem like nice guys.
As much as I love both our Broncos, and I was impressed by the ZR2… a solid axle 60 for the front on the 2-Door Bronco is definitely one of the options we’re leaning towards… 60/14B with ORIs is the goal, but getting all that to work with the daily driver features has proven to be a programming nightmare. But the way I look at it is, a BULLETPROOF IFS front is going to cost $16-20K… that’s my built 60 and the fab work right there anyway. I appreciate you checking out our video, even if it’s not the most hardcore thing you’ll see on UA-cam. If you ever are in the Midwest, hit us up, we’d love to video your rig in action!
I'm in AZ but from Illinois. I don't get out of town much, but I'll hit you up if I'm ever in the hood. Keep up the show. A lot of channels out there trying to scab on to Matts Offroad Recovery. I don't like that stuff. Content should speak for itself. I dig what you guys are doing here. @@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson

5K VIEWS!!!! 🤯🤯🤯
More impressive watching the ZR2 make it over everything the bronco can with that longer wheelbase and shorter break over! Very nice!
The ZR2 was VERY impressive!
Thanks for watching!

What the heck happened at 9:58?
a decision was made to gun-it… to avoid a possible roll-over… and some items in the truck bed went for a ride
lol ok

Looks like a fun day! my buddy just bought the Chev version of that truck. He said he want's to come out one of these days, should be fun!
It was a great day!
Show him this, and talk him into it! I’d love to see a video on how they do in the snow!
Pucker factor level 7 on that one lol.
Good wheeling though, looked like a fun trip.

@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson oh i noticed lol, and was thinking "well now it seams they have hit a mud hole or 2 that we missed out on 🤔😁"
@JeepTrailsandBarbells lol there’ll be a video on that later
What you airing down to?
I aired down to 12psi for this run
You can go lower man. You got them fancy beadlocks
@@8Lugproductions I’ve gone to 8, but didn’t really notice a difference lol
@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson go to 5. You are light enough it won’t hurt.
@@8Lugproductions ok, you talked me into it… next time, I’ll go to 5! lol
Great vid and trail, both trucks are assume.
Thanks man!!! Thanks for watching!!!
is the zr2 was in 4low ???
I’d assume so
Awesome ZR-2, but the Bronco makes everything look so much easier, probably it had lower gear ratio?
The Bronco does have larger tires, and lower gearing.
The wheelbase difference definitely came into play… some obstacles the Bronco had a hard time where the ZR2 made it look easy, and others they switched.

Some days I miss havening a truck. The Ranger Raptor is to expensive for me being a small truck. The ZR2 looks tough, I have one back in the day.
It performed like a BOSS! some days a truck would be perfect!
That zr2 is sick 😉.
No lies detected! He owes me another wheeling trip too!
Was the zr2 in 4lo? Sounded like it struggled to get over things
He was testing out the various off road settings, so some are 4Hi and some 4Lo
Thanks for watching btw!!!
Psssssshhhhha
Psssssshhhhha
We need blowoff valves!!!!
8:19 that is an annoying spot. I actively avoid it tho it's really not as bad as it feels when your driving it.
I hate that spot more than anything in the park! lmao

Not much sexier than a two door Bronco.
We may be biased, but we agree!!
Thanks for watching!!
Just found your channel - great video! What lift and tires do you have on your Bronco?
Thanks, and thanks for watching!
We have the Icon coilover 1-3” lift (set at 2”) and 37x12.50 STT Pros for tires!
❤❤❤❤ hack ya !!!!
🤘🤘🤘
Thanks for the good time brother! It was a pleasure!

Both rigs did well, but they clearly serve different purposes every else than on the rocks…
That’s valid… the ZR2 can fit so much more gear for longer trips!
The bronco has better gearing.
@@dadsafrantic that’s true!
My stock gladitor handled that query a lot better than the zr2. He got tired and just gas it wow.

If you’d be interested, we could set up a Gladiator VS ZR2 day? We could maybe find a Tacoma as well!
