For you to insinuate that the school at Morayta is the fallback school for debarred UST students is a direct affront and insult to that highly regarded, respected institution. FYI, wala sa school yan. May mga kasama ako sa trabaho na galing sa mga big Four at sa mga iba rin school and based on my experience working with them, mas efficient and mas result oriented pa yong mga ibang graduates na hindi galing sa Big Four. FYI, the late Henry Sy, Ramon Ang(CEO of San Miguel Corp) are among the graduates of FEU.

Thank you for making this video, Aria. My siblings and I were student in UST specifically the EHS (Education High School). I was a high school student there from 1969 to 1973. Those were memorable years for me because they were my formative years. I am 63 years old now, going 64, been living in the US since 1983. Wish I could visit the Philippines again and UST in particular.
University of Santo Thomas is my dream school but it's too far from my home and I can't afford it. Someday, when I'm successful enough, I'll visit this university and say "hindi man ako nakapag-aral dito, atleast nakapunta pa rin ako."

To be honest, I almost gave up on pursuing UST after I have not met the cut-off score in accord to the university's admission ratings. After that, I tried to apply to other universities as well but again, all of my applications were rejected so as my scholarship pitch. I became totally sentimental, self conscious and partly depressed. However, as I slowly grasp and climb my way up again towards fixing myself little did I know that my reconsideration appeal was approved. Yes, that is true, and for that I am overwhelmed and wholly thankful to God since at that exact shift of destiny, I knew that God really wants me to pursue my dream and learn that life is not always a glorious and victorious trip--it is a voyage of pain, suffering, and not just simply victory but triumph; because every single day is a remarkable war against time, self, and the world itself. Kaya if it really is your dream, huwag niyong papakawalan. Instead, hold it tight and give your best shot to make it through negativities and scenarios of you versus the odds.
mas masarap at mas intense ang triumph and victory pag dumaan ka sa pagsubok, obstacles, disappointment bago makamit ang tagumpay. Kudos sa iyo coz you did not give up and lost hope in pursuing your dreams.

sad to see comments saying they dream of going to this uni but don't think they'd be able to. Don't lose hope, aspiring Thomasians. I had a few mates back then who were scholars of many different org's and were able to survive the full set of years with the aid of those scholarships. Some were even working scholars in the lib, which I thought was a really cool thing to do

I got accepted to UST's Marketing Management program! However, I'm a little torn between UST and DLSU because the latter's tuition is a lot higher than UST but DLSU got more scholarship opportunities. I haven't received my DLSU results though lol I'm just thinking if letting go of my slot in UST is worth it just to wait for DLSU to (hopefully) accept me. So here I am, binge-watching campus tours from both.
I'm currently a high school sophomore and part of our division's first batch of SSC students, kaya dagdag hirap 'to sa high school years ko. Naghahabol ako ngayon ng requirements for our 3rd quarter, kasi 4th na next week. Sa dami kong gagawin nawawalan na ako ng gana, but after watching this video, naalala ko yung pangarap kong mag-aral sa UST. Now I'm inspired to do school works.
