Now you're here, like you've been before
And you know just what I need
It took some time for me to see that you give good love to me
    Baby, so good
Take this heart of mine into your hands
You give good love to me
    Never too much
    Baby, you give good love

The most miraculous part about this performance is that most singers divert from the notes they hit on the track because live it's more difficult for them to do so. Whitney diverts from albums notes out of pure boredom and exceeds the note she's done on the record simply out of Showmanship. The woman was untouchable!

Every naked note hitting the mark sending the hairs on your back to attention. Such a rare gift and she shared it with all of us. She didn’t have to. Her Musicianship between 2:00 - 3:25 is, absolutely, extraordinary.
There has never been a Female vocalist, in Popular music, whose interpretive/improvisational abilities were so clear and precise; her transitions from chest to head voice were seamless, every note was centered accurately to the body of the melody and her diction, intonation and sense of pitch was immaculate. Notwithstanding, her Live singing capabilities completely eclipsed her studio recordings.
Whitney Houston was, simply, one of the Greatest non- Operatic singers of the 20th century in terms of, overall, tonal quality and purity of vocal line only rivaled by Barbra Streisand and Ella Fitzgerald.

In 3:56 to 3:59, one of the backup singers sang "You give love love, honey" instead of "You give good love, honey". Whitney heard that mistake and looked at them to signal that she was aware of it -- but the error didn't throw her off her game and focus. Singing 100% live, Whitney effortlessly took the coloratura soprano pianissimo part in that complex tail-end harmony. She was so good. A true master at the precise and delicate art of singing. And what's incredible was that she was only 20 or 21 years old in this video.
