Not just the best video you guys have ever produced, but by far the best motorcycle adventure channel out there, BAR NONE ! Eat your heart out itchy boots. This episode had me on the edge of my seat right to the end. I thought the disaster was going to be the loss of your front brakes & y’all careening down the dirt road. You Guys are the best Back-Road Ambassadors... Awesome Exploration... El Volcancito, what a great destination... love those southwestern tunes, they are so rich in emotion and culture and fit so well... some of those landscapes closely resemble our Southwestern States...Stay Safe and Ride on!
Wow, thank you!! Yeah, I was trying to maintain a little Latin Flair with the music, but the region certainly does invoke Wild Wild West vibes, so I decided to mix the tunes up a bit! 🍻
Loved that landscape, so awesome!! Volcancito fuq'n epic! That's like some off world stuff, bust out the scuba gear... that or thought Chad was gonna jump I'm bare ass 🤣🤣
Awesome baby volcano. I was waiting, you put your hand in the water. I would have done the same thing, be careful, but ice around is a good sign not scalding water. Bizarre with the open grave. I’m a bone radiologist, was looking for tell tale sign on the bones. ¡Buen viaje mis amigos!
Yeah, with as cold as it was, there would have been a plume of steam had the water been scalding. I would guess it was probably about 50° f, so definitely warmer than the ambient temperature, but far from hot. What, if anything, were you able to tell from the condition of the bones?? 🤔
From what I can see, pretty limited, but no obvious bone injury or lesion. Bones have been moved around, ulna on top of the humerus, right femur crossing the lumbar spine. Very clean looking, no tissue. @@TwoWheelsThreeSheets
Short answer, I can’t tell. Would take involvement for forensic analysis (various methods), and I’m not trained in that. There was no remaining tissue that I could see. The person in that grave could have been there just long enough to lose all tissue or way beyond that. What I have heard is can be large variation in decomposition depending on conditions. Forensic training puts bodies in various conditions, follows that to get an idea of decomposition with timeline, but again, environmental conditions can cause wide variation in results. Interesting field, but all my patients are alive.

Animals typically avoid human contact. Rodents sometimes come around looking for food, but you just have to be sure to clean up / pack up / secure anything that may attract them. In desert environments you sometimes have to keep a watchful eye out for snakes and scorpions. They sometimes like to take shelter in the nooks and crannies.
Yup, it was actually already included in the video. The first time I check our altitude with my inReach Mini is at the base of the volcano... The coordinates are right there on the screen! 👍
Not that I can recall... above 14k feet or so, I need to shut it down and allow the FI / mapping / ignition (whatever) to recalibrate every 500 feet (elevation increase) or so. But once I do, it runs fine...

@PlaymediaCL we did not. Perhaps if the abandoned Border Station had been manned, they would have stopped us... We literally didn't see another soul the two days we were there.

How do you prepare against wildlife bothering you in the evening/night whilst you camp outdoors away from civilization??
Animals typically avoid human contact. Rodents sometimes come around looking for food, but you just have to be sure to clean up / pack up / secure anything that may attract them.
In desert environments you sometimes have to keep a watchful eye out for snakes and scorpions. They sometimes like to take shelter in the nooks and crannies.
Planning a trip that way this fall. Any chance you have gps coordinates for the volcano?
Yup, it was actually already included in the video. The first time I check our altitude with my inReach Mini is at the base of the volcano... The coordinates are right there on the screen! 👍
Thanks . Looking forward to our trip.
"Rose, I know you love touching dead things" hhaha 😅😆
True story!!! 😅
Hey, does your a.t ever have problems with starting at cold altitude? Like even at 6000ft and 8c?
Not that I can recall... above 14k feet or so, I need to shut it down and allow the FI / mapping / ignition (whatever) to recalibrate every 500 feet (elevation increase) or so. But once I do, it runs fine...
Ok, mystery problem with mine😅. Thanks for the answer!!!
Brakes. Pffftt. They only slow you down.
When they work... 😉
Ha ha - yes, we definitely ate the sandwich, and no, we did not eat the Barfy!! 😁
Pobre sanduíche!!!😅😅😅
😅
During which time of the year were you there?
Mid-may...
In what month did you go?
Thanks
This was mid-May...
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Hi guys.... Did you encounter any police control before climbing to the Volcancito?
Some people told me that there is a police control that demands you to hire a local guide, and we just found our about this information and we are planning to climb tomorrow in our motorcycles and spend the night up there as you did
Thanks in advance for your help
@PlaymediaCL we did not. Perhaps if the abandoned Border Station had been manned, they would have stopped us...
We literally didn't see another soul the two days we were there.
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets fantastic.... Thanks for the info
What year did you go?
@PlaymediaCL we were there in May last year... Let us know how it goes! Good luck!! 💪
What is three sheets?
If you look at our logo, it is a silhouette of an Africa Twin with sails on it. Three Sheets refers to the sails on a boat. And yes, if someone is "three sheets to the wind," it means they are extremely intoxicated... 😁
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets ok lol. I knew I heard three sheets before 😂
I crossed the Andes for a Barfy Sandwich. I always wanted to say that.
😅 Nothing says quality like Barfy!! 👍
What bike you two are riding? What is your height lady?
We are riding 2-ip on a 2017 Honda Africa Twin. Rose is 5'3" short... 😁
Honda AT DCT or Manual?
Manual. I actually test rode a DCT and didn't get it. It went against years of muscle memory. Not to mention, I didn't want to end up in South America with something overly complicated that no one knew how to work on...
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets yeah, I understand. I love the two models. Next month the I will follow for province of Chubut at Argentina Patagonia. Congrats for the videos and the trip. Sorry my rmhlish.
@Sinborago awesome! Some great riding there - enjoy!! 🍻
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Thanks my friend🙌🏻

Really was an odd place for a street performer. I assume he was just passing through. 🤔

Frozen mystery juice
Never did figure out what it was... 🤔
I like riding bicycles and walking on remote, remote paths and rugged roads.. Your experience is riding a bicycle together.. And I do not know whether you are a couple.. or friends.. I follow most of the cyclists around the world via UA-cam.. I was impressed by your experience.. You are wonderful.. I thank you and encourage you - I follow you from Jordan...
