I no longer have adjectives to describe this trip. I only have one thing to say: You are true adventurers. And we can't forget this bike that is really proving to be a battle tank!!!
One of the most inspirational videos I have seen!! I'm Argentinean and my next trip will be to Balcon Del Piscis thanks to your fantastic work of sharing the beauty of the Andes, I'm happy to see you have enjoyed it. Les mando un abrazo a la distancia!! 😁
Hey guys, I started watching your videos a while ago, back when Chad was riding in Alaska. Then recently I went back and watched your earlier stuff and am impressed how you've grown. I love how Rose was a reluctant participant at the beginning and now is the narrator; a colourlful and very entertaining narrator. It's almost as if Chad has gone from being the star and central figure to playing second fiddle to Rose. I know it's a team effort, but it's wonderful how, together you've become great story tellers, venturing to the less frequented spots of South America. You deserve a far bigger following and I urge you to persist, your time will come. The Ushuaia trip is on my bucket list, but you guys have made me realise there is so much more to see. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the kind words AND for supporting the channel! Rose can't even bring herself to watch our old content. She certainly has come into her own as a narrator! I (Chad) am more of a natural story teller, so it was a bit difficult for her in the beginning, but she is certainly getting the hang of it!! 😁 Yes, I ofter encourage people to (A) avoid rhe PanAm at all costs, and (B) fight the urge to target fixate on Ushuaia. A lot of people just blast right by the best riding in South America to get to the "End of the Road".
That laguna negra overlook was awesome, but aahhh, what’s ppls fascination with stacking rocks? Y’all have an excellent mindset for , “whatever” …bad ass 😆… Takes a special crazy to ride anywhere, camp any temp, and keep the laughs flowing. Thanks for taking us on the ride 👍🏼👍🏼
Ha ha ha!! Rock stacking is one of Rose's biggest pet peeves. But then again, The Rock stackers are probably wondering what the fascination is with slapping stickers everywhere, so... 😅
I discovered your channel just 3 episodes ago - loving the articulate and understated commentary, as well as the structure of your editing style. From an old-school thumperite (DR 650 rotating with KLR 650) who rides and camps the gravel backroads of the desert rimlands of Southern Africa…
Thank you so much - welcome to the channel! I (Chad) cut my teeth riding thumpers through the Mojave Desert of the American Southwest! Nothing better!! 🍻
I am not sure which planet you are on, but it sure is beautiful! My favorite quote is, " You just won't know until you go!" You are true adventurers and explorers. So great!!! Ps. Rose, next time you are in Central Ontario, I will make you a sandwich.

Ha ha... that was her " running to the store to buy another sandwich" dance! 🤣 Last time we almost lost the drone was on Tierra del Fuego. That was a little tougher to find... Thank ls so much for the kind words! The channel has gained a bit of traction as of late. 👍
The sense of travel is nicely portrayed by be termed contrasting transitions as the plot develops from gritty (engine rumble) to the sublime (flow of bike travel with just music) to narrative contextualisation (third person narrator). Thanks for that!
Proof positive, "you never know until you go!" Love your videos, true adventure riders. I've been binge-watching since its -14°F and I don't want to go outside! I especially appreciate Rose's sense of humor & commentary!
Well in that case, I'm glad it's freezing out!! 🥶😁 Ha ha! Thanks so much for binging on the channel and for the kind words! We appreciate the support!! 👍🍻
I am absolutely amazed where you two go. I was in northern Argentina the last weeks travelling solo. I have to admit that I set my limits far below yours. Lifting solo even a not too heavy loaded KTM 890 is still quite an effort and running out of fuel in the middle of nowhere is something I don’t want to experience. Really impressive 👍🏼
Thank you!! Northern Argentina is full of all sorts of untapped riding potential! Love it there!! Fuel is definitely a major consideration. There were a lot of areas I wish we could have explored further, but yeah, running out of fuel in some of these more remote spots can be a real bummer. We always carry a 4 L rotopak that I never take into consideration when calculating a range. It's for emergencies only, but that said, we've had to rely on it a couple times to get a set of sticky situations!
What a great adventure guys, you guys are definitely some risk takers and you have a lot of faith, I would have worried about Gas, definitely in the middle of nowhere, glad you made it safely,
Just watched the last three episodes and I must say: beautiful adventure. You people are doing a great job and definitely deserve more subscribers. Best!
I guess my concern about the sandwich was for naught. Anyway, what an interesting and eye opening video, what amazing landscape. Hope the Chinese gave you some gas. I find it amazing that the Chinese are mining in Chile in the high altitudes of the Andes. Thanks for sharing. Stay well and good luck. Oh yeah, I think you should treat yourself to a big mac!-when you can.
See, we seamlessly tricked you with our epic sandwich cliffhanger!! 😅 Yeah, no one was more surprised to see a bunch of signs written in Chinese than we were!! 😳
You 2 are tough as nails. Excellent riding 2 up. Out in the middle of no where (albeit beautiful scenery) & you ride up on a Chinese lithium mine. Incredible! Continue to have awesome travels. I did riding trip through Patagonia last year. I really appreciate what you 2 are doing, amazing!
