Great video. Question: Have you ever had any issues getting the AV input to work? (With the monitor set to AV and the yellow / white / red connections hooked up, it wont display any video. I have tried a number of different sources and nothing displays. The HDMI connection works when I connect other devices but I would love to use this with the AV input for a unique project).

Can u monitor sound via headphones in headphone port and review playback sound on the monitor speaker without distortion.
Some reviews say there is distortion when monitor volume up connected to cam.
My camera has no way to monitor sound while filming so I wanted to plug in headphones to monitor sound.

I see your camera is the full size of the display with the camera info on. Did you change some settings on your camera to get that? When i plug my 70D in when the info is on the visuals are not full screen.

This might be good for checking your composition, but maybe not so much for checking color and exposure. If you want a good budget option for that, check out the Andycine A6 Plus. It costs a little more, but it's a lot better and a lot easier to use. You get 1080p resolution, a touchscreen, waveforms, vectorscopes, and even a LUT monitor. Also, you don't have to buy a battery or charger separately.

good monitor but the fittings are naff when fitted in the screw hold the monitor tends to spin so I bought a andoer camera mount monitor never spins
