This probably was the last time Pepsi was involved in marketing and promoting for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. Pepsi promoting Universal's Halloween Horror Nights during its first few years in the 90's when it first started and when it was still a new thing. Coke started promoting Universal's HHN instead in the 2000's and 2010's. I don't mind if Pepsi ever started promoting Universal's HHN again eventually somewhere in the future, especially I prefer Pepsi over Coke anyway.
The effects look a lot more unfinished than in the commercial shown in Loren Soman's animation reel.
