Brilliant tutorial as usual .. one small thing, when creating a new shortcut in PS you need to HOLD Down the Ctrl Key while adding the other elements. Been driving me crazy until the nice man at Adobe sorted it out.
@FiB yep, but its not just about the knowleadge, but how you percive it, and this kid is the best in that area, i learnt more in 2 month from him than in years from others.
I've been using a Wacom tablet for many years and never understood why I could not make the pen pressure sensitive in Photoshop. Thanks to the link you give at 1.24, I have finally managed to make it work. Hooray and thanks for that which has made such a difference for me.
You're the first and only UA-camr I've subbed to that I've also clicked the bell icon for. Amazingly clear and detailed content. I feel like I'm in an upper-crust design college and you're my distinguished professor.
I just got my tablet today and so thankful I started with this tutorial first. Everything in it proactively saved my sanity - so many things but especially mapping the screen and tablet area. thank you!
Thank you SOOOO much. My wife bought me a Wacom tablet several years ago, and I have hardly used it. Now I have a clue on HOW to use this amazing tool. In did however have 2 hours used to turn off Windows Ink and load the app correction in CC2019. Turns out I needed to unlock visibility for hidden folders. (Very Important!)
Hey, Unmesh! I should say that when I fist stumbled upon one of your videos, I've had a very little Photoshop experience. Today is the day that I bought my fist tablet, it's also Wacom, the one you use. I just wanna thank you from the deep of my soul for this journey, you're my best teacher ever!
Who are the best guy in internet who explain the best way the things unbelievably. I hope you stay present ever in youtube. Congratulations for your channel
Unmesh, you sir are a nestor in all things Photoshop. you are the one I trust the most on YT to get the info I need to excel. I saw other commentors are asking for a tablet tutorial for Lightroom. I just want to second their request; it would be so beneficial, my friend!
OMG this is so timely. I’ve been retouching photos and cutting paths for years with a mouse and just recently committed to using a tablet. I’ve been struggling particularly with paths. Thank you!!!
Thank you for the tutorial, the best and such a clear explanation! I hope you have people in your life who help you as much as you help everyone who is trying to master these programs.
I've had a Wacom PT-640 tablet for a couple of years and never could figure how to set it up. Your video was an excellent getting started lesson. Thank you.
Unmesh, I just got my Wacom Pro tablet today. Your video is gold! I even took notes! I never would have put together assigning tablet shortcuts with using the keyboard mapping tool -- and I've been using Photoshop (off and on) for nearly 25 years. I always learn something new from your tutorials. Thanks so much.
Dude, what a charming personality you reflect, also giving quality details for the viewer's need. You just doing this in a perfect way. Please keep up the good work!
Absolutely one of the best I've come across on YT. Clear, easy to follow without any problems as to where you are on both the computer and tablet. Thank you for making this whole setup less complicated.
Another fantastic tutorial. Your tutorials are wonderfully detailed but so easy to follow. You also always provide more information than can be found on other tutorials covering the same topic. I have never seen anyone else point out about 'forced proportions' before and also the backup of preferences. Well done and thank you.
I was 5 minutes into this tutorial and I knew that this channel simply offers the best tutorials at the highest professional level. Awesome Unmesh. Keep going.
You are amazing and I love everything that you produce You make it very simple to follow and you convinced me to buy a Wacom tablet pro medium. I’ve been creating wrist discomfort from all of the mouse work. I’ve been doing on my editing, and I cannot wait to speed up my workflow and efficiency with this tablet! The shortcuts that you suggested make total sense for my style of editing so thank you thank you thank you !!!!
i dont know why im watching your videos, but your talking style and haire style makes better fealing to me. i love PS and your tutorials. keep up making this kind of videos,,,
I found out that after using the R key for picture rotation, and you wish to bring the image back to it's original position quickly, just press the escape key. Great tutorial. Thank you.
This is like my wish came true, I am watching your tutorials every night before I go to sleep and yesterday I was thinking how cool it would be to see how you are using the tablet, since I’ve got one too and see your setup. Thank you for that, you’re amazing.
Paused at 0:30 I will definitely be getting the "screen protector" for mine. I just got mine in, I am glad that they had the little test samples in the package. Umesh rocks! I've learned so much from him!
One of the best videos of your channel. I don't have any pen pressure tablet but watching this video simply blow my mind. Specially the animation that you have made with the words and custom color gradients.
I used Wacom Intuos PRO M and S on both Mac and Win platforms at work. Their drivers were getting me really mad. I really hate when I press those side buttons on the tablet and pop ups kept showing NO MATTER IF I TURNED THEM OFF OR NOT. So yeah, pain in the a... So after frequent driver reinstalling I gave up. Checkbox Show Express View lived its own life. Especially when I disabled every key, so the round wheel still showed pop ups even if disabled. Good job for the video! For some it will be usefull for sure!
i love you i love you i love you... you just helped me fix an issue I had occure to a software update and it was costing me soooo much retouching time. THANKS
I have to say it...your videos are truly helpful! They always make me want to go back into my vault of photos and play with them. This is the one notification and subscription I actually look at when I see it pop up on my phone. Thanks for all the hard work you put into these videos.
2:15: A great illustration of wired v. wireless lag for me was watching streaming video in VR. In a program like Hulu or Netflix, the program has this big, beautiful widescreen TV in a virtual space, but when you watch a movie with the headphones connected via Bluetooth, the words are always WAY out of sync with the lips of the characters onscreen! Plug in the headphones, however, and everything is spot on. It's a REALLY easy way to see the difference in latency!
Thank you for this absolutely wonderful and complete video!! Because windows 10 has omitted the ability to get into group preferences, I had to do this to disable Ink: Disable Windows Ink Workspace in Windows 10 Using Registry Tweak - Press Windows Key + R to open the Run command From the run utility window, type Regedit and click Ok to open the registry. Next, navigate to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft If you can't locate the WindowsInkWorkspace folder, then do the following: -Right-click the Microsoft key in the left pane, and then select New -> Key. -Name the Key as WindowsInkWorkspace and click OK. Right-click empty space in the right pane, select New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name the DWORD value as AllowWindowsInkWorkspace. Leave its value data as 0. Restart your computer. Once signed back in, you should see Windows Ink Workspace disabled. I also couldn't get to the Wacom Tablet Preference File Utility, but there is a spot to set your backup settings in the Wacom Desktop Center ---> Backup settings ----> Backup. Hopefully I never have to use this, but if I do - I'm hoping it works!!
I was hoping for some time you would do a wacom vid and here it is! Yours is absolutely the best, most practical wacom instruction on UA-cam. If you have even more Wacom tips we'd love to see them. Thx
Geeze I am a few years behind but I am purchasing a new Wacom Pro this week and this video was very informative as to how I can set it up. Very tired of using a mouse during touch ups. Thanks!
Wow what an amazing video!!! You my friend are an editing God!!! I have had a Wacom tablet for years and now looking forward to customizing it based on your knowledge and methods! Thanks again, you are the MAN!!!👍🏼👍🏼

I'm a fan of yours. I watch all your videos. You and your skills are truely awesome. Can you make a tutorial on setting up the brush for drawing on a tablet? Especially, sketches and hand drawings. I mean what's the correct type of brush, with the correct opacity, smoothness, hardness and softness
