California Dove Hunting 2023 - El Centro, CA

This is part 1 of 3.
We had a great opener on September 1st before the storm came in the afternoon. Three of our six guys limited, I had 12 birds, and another guy had 4 but he had a hurt ankle this year. Overall the morning was the best hunt on the weekend.
I was using my Benelli SBE3 with a Carlson's IM choke. I've had it for a few years now. It was my own fault I couldn't hit anything in range. I haven't been able to practice this year before season started.
