This debacle is proving to be very interesting. It seems to me that Yoons party is doing their best to hamstring Yoon being removed with every trick up their sleeve as Yoon will not do the honourable thing by resigning but in doing so Yoons party is losing the moral high ground. It is inevitable he will go one way or the other and the people themselves will remember this come voting time.

You got it the other way round. The opposition acting like thugs basically indirectly justifies Yoon's martial law as being incompetent, reckless opposition party that want's to paralyze the government at all costs. The opposition is basically saying, "If you don't follow our orders, we will impeach you" lmao....

Incorrect. The public sentiment has already shifted as evidenced in the protests. The anti impeachment/pro yoon rally is now bigger than the pro impeachment rally.
Basically the public is saying, we are against the tyranny of the opposition led majority who basically says if u don’t follow our orders, we will impeach you lol….

The acting President is now the president. The assembly approved. Thats the most important part.

The assembly holds the power. There is no law prohibiting the acting president to appont judges as long as the assembly approves. What if the president had died?

well , you already answer yr own question "if the prez died"....then the prez power is temporary transfer to acting prez chosen by the assembly until a new elected prez is voted in by korean....the prez power is not transfer to the assembly. the assembly consist of ruling and opposition party. the acting prez do not hv full power, only limited. power and the elected prez is not dead...only temporary suspended. he is still the sitting elected prez until impeachment verdict is out and remove him. if he died then its a different thing. the power will temporary go to acting prez but he hv to call a prez election within a certain time frame. the assembly only hv limited power. if the acting prez and assembly hv the power ...they would hv already remove this prez immediately. why are they waiting for? well becoz the clown oppostion dont know their own consitution law. Any wrong move will make the impeachment illegal and all evident submitted to the court thru the investigations inadmissable evidents...and unable to charge this elected prez . why rush to grab power. do it the legal proper democratic way.
