Paradis is one of my favourite pieces of music ever made. It's such a unique song, so full of emotion, and the way it builds and releases tension is masterful! This performance really does the music justice, absolutely phenomenal in every way! I really hope Wintergatan comes to Australia when that world tour eventually happens...
That harp-guitar thing looks sick, where do you even get one of those?! What even IS THAT?!
Also shoutout to that drummer for being great at the theremin, that is a very hard thing to do and he was amazing on it

I was amazed that they got no less than four different instruments to make "moog-like" tonal contributions to the song (modulin, theremin and two keyboards), in addition to three making xylophonic sounds (music box, xylophone, keyboard). Incredible creativity.

what i really love about this is how it somehow feels like a story
from growing and coming out of the womb, to growing up
facing difficulties and obstacles and of overcoming them
    then to improving one's self
to reaching the peak of your life
and then the story continues into the future
it feels like a real life adventure, but a comparatively realistic one

Interesting, that's how I perceive it, too. Do you divide the song into five sections, too? It reminded me immediately of the five parts of Freytags dramatic arc: exposition (0:00), rising action (2:55), climax (5:33), falling action (8:32), and dénouement (10:43) and I hope that Wintergatan will continue composing pieces of comparable length.

god damn it, I couldn't love you more guys, the way you mix all these instruments into a one great piece of music, it's just beyond my imagination. It kinda reminds me of the old progressive rock bands but in a way I have never heard before. All of my love for Wintergatan

The most beautiful thing besides how you interact with one another on stage is how you make every performance special, make different arrangements on the songs and how you're keeping things fresh. Truly amazing and Evelina, you're baring your soul in everything you do which really stands out in the performances and I applaud you! Thumbs up!

I feel like if there was one video/song that really gives a good sample of the whole band, this is it. Namely in the variety. I think they managed to use just about every instrument on stage in a span of 15 min.

With the exception of Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Paradis is probably my favorite song in the world! It even reminds me of Shine On You with long and different parts that come together in one awesome song.

The inherent respect of music among the public is fascinating. Usually ppl clap before their favorite song, yet they all knew better. Respect fellow blue and yellow souls wherever u may be

I don't get why this video is not one of the most viewed on this channel. I mean, it has less views than the number of subscription on the channel!
I really enjoy all the buzz around the marble machine and the videos for Marble Machine X, but the music here is just perfect.
    Thanks for the good times.
