    You can just find the distance between the 2 points using D=√(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²

    it should be
    10-(-2)²=
    10-4=6+1
    r=√7

    I think the radius r should be squared in the end. (x-5)^2 + (y+2)^2 = 5^2

      it is square, r = sqrt5 so r^2 is 5

      divide by 3 on both sides and then use the formula of a circle to locate the center (h,k) and r=radius

    How do I find the equation if the point the line from the centre is touching has a unknown x coordinate.

    -(-2)^2 should be -4 because -2 to the power of 2 is 4 and a negative version is -4 because of BIDMAS or BODMAS because it will be-(4)

    4 - 5 = - 1, so it should be: -1 + 4 = r²
    Then solve for r:
    -1 + 4 = r²
    3 = r²
    √3 = r or, r = √3
