So in the states this stuff happens even more. I was sleeping in my car woke up to a guy trying all my door handles. I chewed him out. A couple days later some one shot the guy and some girl for trying to steal his truck. How ever the guy was shot to death. It's because they are not afraid of the babylon. I feel you on the gun thing though, now they are taking away your kitchen knives. There must not be any kind rebellion against the crown you know you know. They controlling the states btw.
Also I suggest putting some trap doors in your floor adjacent to your car doors and using recessed hinges like you find in kitchen cabinetry.

@@3imaginaryboys1972 ty bro, make sure you use like 4 hinges per door to support your body weight. Just don't hyper perforate the wood Adam. This is tight. Also your floor looks good, you can cover it up with carpet and vinyl.

it is m8 yes, i use another one called komoot but i seem to favourite all trails these days though, ive a subsciption for both, kinda worth it as it gives you the offline download option for the trails and if you use it alot its not a bad price for eith komoot or all trails

Loving the build so far, hope you don't mind some suggestions? Why don't you raise your bed platform level up to the tailgate ledge height, that would give you more storage under the floor with hinges in certain places or hatches in floor as you see on camper vans with storage under floor. Then build a cupboard up to window level / chest height on drivers side with shelves and work top for cooking on / food prep, would be a good height when you are sitting on bed. We love love your enthusiasm, cant wait to see the final build. Keep up the good work, loving your channel.
yeh good call kinda of what im thinking ill have to raise the floor anyways as the posts arnt on, on the battary as yet so will be the way ill go, have to test it out to see how high works with the headroom 😀
You can buy battery strap kits with tie down brackets you can screw in. Saves cutting slits with grinders and letting water in.

Not only water, but may let exhaust fumes in too, and the strap will just chaff through on the sharp metal edges in a hundred miles worth of vehicle jostling.
Loving the crib looks a little cutie. Think i would paint the wood floor with a sealer so its easy to clean and use a tray under your plate that will help with spillages. Cooker is a fab upgrade people are so kind. ☺️

I don't think that strap will last long rubbing against the sharp metal edge you cut. Vibration of the car will act like a saw. I would of bolted two handles down.

£800 battery. The equivalent lead acid £200. Replace lead acid every four years so that’s 16 years of lead acid for the price of this one . I doubt very much if your battery will be working after that amount of time. Just saying.

Add hinges to floor that you can lift up for storage underneath?
Some hatches in your base panels would provide access to your storage underneath.

the sharp edges on the steel you cut, will eventually cut your straps. so do not be surprised
looking good bud, I think raising the floor just behind the drivers seat will give you storage and a raised surface for cooking etc? with regards to bacon grill and spam slice it in the tin first then you get better slices and it comes put easy 👍

I wouldn't think so...Still counts as a car. Such as some vans are actually registered as cars. Hope that helps👍🏻
I'd imagine you do in some way... I briefly remember a modifications related question when I last tried to get quote. Don't know for sure though. You'd probably want to anyway just to make sure... Last thing you want is to invalidate any claims!
I'm currently doing this to my Kia. I looked into the legals regarding MOT. I keep my front passenger seat and remove it when I need to. Put it through the last MOT with no rear seat and it was fine. Just a note on paperwork. If I want to leave the rear seat out permanently, I would have to inform the DVLA. As regards to insurance. I would not register as a camper, just a 2 seater car. I'm not making any permanent change. I've also kept rear seats to sell on with car if that day comes.

the way you fitted the strap is a bit iffy, Adam. vibration when driving will make the battery move and it will get cut by the sharp edges of the slit. A better idea would have been a tie down kit with screw in loops to put the strap through. You're going to get loads of water in the spare wheel area now which will rust the bottom of the area the battery is in. Hope you didnt mind me saying so. Great camp out though. Looks glorious there for sure. A fab find Bessy regs- Kenny

if your saying just youtube without outside stuff, collabs, merch etc, id say its more views than subs but both go hand in hand but its views that the monitisation works on and depend on your living costs/standards but lets say in this niche (travel) u wanted to make 2k a month i think ud be looking at 400k -500k views a month .... a massive amount to be fair

If you want easy storage, cut your floor above the cubby area and put some hinges on it so you can just pop a lid and access the storage. Great little project!

I wouldnt recommend that battery position….the cab could fill with fumes…from the battery .
It’s ok for banger racing because they dont have glass windows ..
You need to seal it off from the cab atmosphere..if it explodes it will be disastrous..

Make sure you seal around where you cut for the straps.

You should buy stick on heat insulation for cars makes a huge difference you can get rolls of ebay cheap just sticks to bare metal under carpet make sure it’s heat insulation and not sound insulation change the cabin filter makes your heater work better and fresher air great video series keep up the good work 👍

where I was staying last night there where some kids as well gathering.
they where blasting music with some fancy subwoofer system.
I kind of wanted his battery do die but then he wouldn't have bin able to leave so I'm glad it didn't.
the two other locations I visited where better.
overall I'd say it was a great first car camping trip.
