@Mira Podolny they have koi the aren’t wild. They probably took them out before the video since they have something to catch them with.
I mean, it was probably fine. Bodies of water naturally freeze every year, and they do it from the top down. The wildlife is always fine. And honestly, the worst you’ll get is ice shards that melt back into water by the end of the day.
The bigger issue is all the nitrogen. I’m not a biologist, so I don’t know what an acceptable level of nitrogen is for plants, but it’s definitely way lower than what he was dumping in. However, big pond lowers concentration, probably stays within a reasonable fluctuation, and everything lives.
Basically, wildlife has a habit of surviving when unexpected circumstances arise, and one dick with some liquid nitrogen probably won’t eradicate an ecosystem. Probably. He still shouldn’t have done it tho.

the way he and the girl in pink look at the camera is the same look that teachers give to kindergarteners to try and convince them something is cool and exciting even when it's not.
As a Floridian I can say that alligators (the pond monster, albeit fake ones) are rather dangerous if proper caution is not taken, and it's not smart to tell or show kids that it's okay to approach or bother these animals, which can very likely result in the death of someone.
Yeah you need atleast a licensed Florida man to launch it back into the natural eco-system with a hand canon.

I think the "monster" thing works because it's the equivalent of kids playing pretend (i.e. random sticks are swords, etc.).
The kids probably know that it's not really a monster, but pretending that a playground is a castle, a squirrel is a monster, or other pretend things, is absolutely a kid thing.
In turn, the videos are like when adults humor the kids by playing along with the make believe thing.
That's why I think it works for their target demographic, despite being absolute garbage to all other demographics.

I one time had an infection on my foot, and it had solidified in a way where I needed it professionally removed. I got it removed with liquid nitrogen (in a hospital and legally ofc) and man, that sh!t stung and was super cold for a good hour. So yeah, I agree with you with first hand experience, they should not be handling literally LIQUID NITROGEN like that.
