    Sheeesh!! This is a sneaky quick bike! I'm looking to buy a used 2010 XJ6 with 9,000kms for about $4,500Australian $ It's a little bit expensive for a motorcycle 10 years old but Yamaha is good for it, are they not?
    Can you tell me a little history of owning yours? Reliability? Maintenance issues? Major fixes? etc etc. Thanks mate :)

      It is a nice little bike! Been enjoying mine now for slighlty more than 7 years and done close to 50,000km with it through almost 30 countries next to daily driving. I haven't had a single issue with mine so far and still going strong. Obviously I have done maintenance accordingdly. A reliable bike with a lot of bang for the bucks if you ask me!
      Good luck with your purchase.

    nice one dude, but it seem that xj6 still got power left in it, have you tried change the sprocket size? it could make to 230 tho... =) anyway nice riding and nice bike!

      Ahmad Nazrin Yeah it did have a few hundred more rpms to givet but got a car in front of me so I had to brake ;( Well no I havn't and I won't do it either, acceleration will be slower which I dont want ;)

    • @carlosandleon

      Ahmad Nazrin changing sprocket for top speed is dumb imo. Should shorten it for more acceleration

      Why not? You get more fuel mileage and less stress , it depends on what you want, if your bike has enough torque.. @@carlosandleon

    I'll have to try again with mine (xj6f 2013) but last tim my top speed was 205km/h and I was on the highway.. Maybe to much front wind that day. I dont know. Do you have the stock exhaust?

    • @Aatruss
      @Aatruss  9 років тому +1

      +denilsonic87 Might be... at the time filming this video I had the stock exhaust (not anymore tho). :)

    great all , speed & acceleration ... but how are brakes and road grip, safely ? or does it have any negative feature ? thanks

    • @Aatruss
      @Aatruss  10 років тому +2

      According to me the brakes are great, especially the grip. I use the recommended Dunlop tires for the bike and they are superb in both dry conditions as well as in wet. All in all, a reliable great bike! :)

    U tired it with only one bar left on the fuel gauge. That makes the bike lighter and thus able to reach top speed easier.

    • @Aatruss
      @Aatruss  10 років тому

      Agree on that one, though I am probably a little heavier than other people that use to drive sport/sporttouring, so at the end it compensates :)

    Fy - över 200 på E6:an. Själv vågar jag inte köra fortare än 160 (polisen n shit). Undrar bara varför det blåser så för jävligt i Skåne ... (Landskrona here)

      Nu var ju detta fem år sedan, trafiken var tio gånger lugnare på E6:an än vad den är idag. Idag är det bara hemskt och drygt att köra där :(
