That was powerful robust heavenly singing. Don’t ever stop doing it this way. The specialness and uniqueness of this cultural treasure in God’s people is priceless. I sometimes miss singing the psalms this way.
Nice to hear the Geneva melody psalms sung in English. i don’t know if these geneva psalms are sung often in Canada, maybe also in French in the prostestant french communities? We in the Netherlands don’t hear often our beloved psalter in other languages. 😉
They are mainly sang in the Canadian Reformed churches, some other psalters have the Genevan tunes, but only select tunes and not all the psalms like the the CanRC does; certainly a blessing to have them!
