After changing these 5 times
I found the easiest way
So Here is how you do it :
Remove the window rail by unscrew one bolt (located outside at side of the door)
Then you can put your hand inside and use your finger to unclip + unhook the yellow plastic rod.
And then remove the 3 bolts (including the lock bolts)
from inside.
Then door handle will come out effortlessly.
Put the new handle in first.
(without connecting anything)
Then everything in reverse
(Screw the bolts & connect the rods etc)

You are not going to get the handle wiggled into place without removing the window track. It's only one bolt on the bottom, and the top of it just slips in and out of place. It's a little scary because you cant see where the top goes, but if the bottom in in the right place and the top is in the right general direction, the top sort of goes where it is supposed to. Putting the track back is the last thing you will do before putting the door panel back on. Before you put the panel, while you can still see the mechanism, check by lowering the window a little and making sure it is on the track. I had to do both sides of my 99 Sienna, and putting the track back was the least of the problems.
I have removed 4 of these handles and replaced two. I have NEVER had to touch the window track. This was done on a 2001 and 2002 sienna.
You only have to remove the 10mm bolt at the front of the handle inside the door and the on at the edge.
Once you have the handle disconnected from the rods, you can remove the handle and then the 10mm bolt from the lock with the handle out and pull the lock and insert it into the new handle. Then reinstall the new handle.
Some videos show to remove the 3rd bolt before removing and that is a royal pain and not necessary. Do it with the handle off the door.
I’ve replaced 2 and I NEVER messed with the window track.
I wish you would have spent a little more time showing how to remove the interior door handle. I destroyed it getting it off

I know you created this to show how to take the door off, but this is a very poor video. I am watching because I have not done this before. I need to know STEP BY STEP on the process, not watch you take things apart and its miraculous already completed.
