I just ordered 2 new door handles and I watched this video. Once I get the handles, I'm sure I'll watch this video again 10 more times before I get these door handles replaced. Thanks for the video that gives me the confidence to try this on my own.
Excellent video. I could have worked it out. However, several steps such as removing the black triangular piece at the beginning, the method of connecting the cables (my door handle and lock assembly had self-destructed in the Florida sun that has shined on my van in the driveway for the past 17 years, so nothing remained as an example) and even the time-saving explanation of how to reset the large white electrical connector were time-savers. Every step was clear and accurate. This made my repair job quick and easy. Thanks!
Thanks, appreciate the video. Took off the door when my window was not seating correctly. The bolt holding the window to the control arm had worked itself loose and fell off after 17 years. Found it in the door and tightened back on.

Wonderful! Only one small problem. Seems to me the main reason to remove the side panel is to replace the glass. At least that's what's I'm trying to do. Sure would have liked a look at how the glass sits in there.
I am stuck trying to air off the connector for the window switch. What tab? The little itty bitty one or the big one with the slot?

The window switches fell inside the door. The drivers side window is rolled down and it looks like rain. Looks like I don't have to take the door apart. God bless you.

Well, 6 years later they probably don't care, but this does not demonstrate it for a 1st generation Toyota Sienna as the model years in the title suggest
The title refers to 04-10 which is the 2nd generation Sienna, not the 1st generation.
Ifs there any way you can show a close up of removing cords from the door handle?

Thank you for the video. I replaced the interior door handle, but I did not need to unplug the "courtesy light." I could not plug back the electrical connector for window (up/down).
However, I replaced window several years ago and I had no problem with the electrical plug.
Please, change the title to: How to remove the Interior Door Handle for 2004 - 2010 Toyota Sienna.

This does not resemble the latch on a 2000 Toyota Sienna XLE?
The title is incorrect. This is for the 2nd generation sienna
Does it matter if i am installing a 2008 LE door on a 2006 CE? Different buttons maybe?
+Rima Ghourani We suggest following the fit chart for the part you are purchasing. If the door handle is listed to fit both these model years, it will work, however, if the part you are looking at is not listed to fit a 2006, you will have issues installing.
Where can you get new door panel clips for the 2000 Toyota XLE the old clips are loose and fall out.
+Michael Ruggiero You may be able to purchase them from your local auto parts store or your dealer may be able to get them for you.
You've got your model years mixed up. Please fix your video's title to say, "2004-2009 Sienna"
