The audio-to-MIDI feature is truly remarkable. It's a massive time saver when you are able to sketch sing your own vocal and then get SynthV to do a better job (or in a different style/gender).
Dloading this as I’m writing this and rewatching this video! SynthV Such an amazing tool for song writing and ArA and voice to midi Is just an insane update. Phantom your channel is top notch, Love it. Absolute goto for info!
I just spent most of my day off trying to get Dubler 2 to work in FL Studio in order to get the same effect as this video. Even had them in a remote video conference to get it to work but no joy. If i'd only seen this video first. Thank you mixPhantom! Subscribed. 🙂
Thank you very much for sharing this great approach. This is a very effective way to first use your own voice and creativity for the vocals and then transpose to a more lovely voice using this feature. In contrast to any other AI voice swapper tools around, with Synth V you can adjust afterwards as needed.
I saw your usual humour in the lyrics.. I stay in 1.10 so far, I have a policy of "no beta", yet this feature should be a revolution for all those people who make SynthV youtube videos with covers. I noticed you also have Spectralayers, that extracts voice from a mix, it will be supereasy for Solaria to dub that voice, and the second option of audio-to-MIDI will copy the pitch history of professional singers.. also for us it might be instructive (I mean, this enable us to learn from the bigs in laying down original lyrics and melodies in Synth V)
You exported the wav directly into the Cubase audio folder but did not import it into the audio pool? You can still see it in the Pool window... Did you skip this step with the import into the Audio Pool in the video?
I love this new audio to midi. I hope they get the bugs out soon. Because it crashes like mad. But it's too useful I don't want to go back to the previous version
Thank you so much for these videos, super useful and very appreciated. Question about the beta though - i see that solaria has the update also but will my other voices purchased work in this beta version? Or does it install a separate beta app alongside the non beta version, if that makes sense?
Not sure... I know that v1.10 required the voices be updated. The addition of ARA and audio to MIDI aren't altering the voice capabilities so I can't see why the voices would need updating.
Any chance you could a quick vid about getting beta - as doesn’t seem super clear. Also does this overwrite the 1.10.1 version or run parrallel like sep application ?.. so my current projects don’t get messed up.
Beta is here: resource.dreamtonics.com/download/English/Synthesizer%20V%20Studio%20Beta%20Version/1.11.0b1/ It's an update so it replaces v1.10. I've had some crashes with ARA in Cubase but no issues as standalone. It's always a risk when you have projects on the go... so might be best to wait.
My understanding is if you credit Synth V and the voice library there are no restrictions for releasing commercially. If you create an artist called "Sally Blaze" and don't credit Synth V and the voice is where you'll have a problem. Obviously the other restriction is you can't repackage a voice library and sell it - so using the voices in sample libraries is a no no.
Hello, thank you for your tutorial... How do you get synthesizer pro into cubase extensions? For me, it's only in VST Instruments !!!!??? is it because I have version 1.10.1 ???
I have no idea how Cubase 13 decided to recognize the ARA extension. It did work straight away in Cubase 12 which may have let the Synth V plugin install fully (without the debugger) which in turn "tricked" Cubase 13 into loading it without issue.

gamechanger
WTF?!
That vocal conversion is INCREDIBLE!!!
Thank you for sharing!!!
P.S. Merry Christmas!!!

When I saw the video title I thought it was a typo, but I am blown away! Its an astonishing feature, excellently presented!
Woah, I hadnt seen this feature. Awesome help. I actually really like your own vocal too.
Another great video, can't wait to the stable version. by the way, I love the melody of your song, very catchy
Thanks for all you do to get this out. Loving the new features and anticipating the release. Great work all the way around!
Trap Tin is gold! Thanks for sharing your experience.

Magnífico tutorial. Muchas gracias y un fuerte abrazo.
Awesome video , still have no idea what I’m doing with the software, but gives me hope to attempt to sing now

Great job! You offer clear and concise info and that’s very helpful.
Great work - thanks for your time 👍

Yes, I'm pretty strict with the "no beta" rule... but I've got a project coming where these features would save me tons of time.
Nice one, got a lot form this.

Just used the Standalone for the first time (Win 11) and no crash. Very impressed with this Beta version.
You can just right click on the file in cubase 13 and use "Bounce Selection" instead of manually exporting and importing audio.
Yes, it's the same as "making permanent"... I just wanted to show that Synth V can export the file from within Cubase.
@@mixphantom0101 i think he means render in place , and thats not the same, as cubase creates a new track.
Would you be open to creating other tutorials?
Pretty innovative.

Thank you sir❤
Will it not take audio from a keyboard and convert to the correct key on the vocal ?
Excellent!! I see you have SAROS. What do you think??
It's still a beta version, so I'm hoping they haven't finished it. There's something "crunchy" about this voice - sounds like a Fairlight CMI One!
LOL!! @@mixphantom0101 Hopefully Eclipsed Sounds will crank the bit rate up!!!
Nice! I don’t have ARA2 in Live. Could I just convert audio to midi from vocal? Would that work? How would I get it from Live into S-V if so?
I export a clean vocal and instrumental backing track into Synth V. Extract MIDI from the vocal, tweak and export the audio file to my DAW.
how stable is the beta build so far? would love to use the audio to midi feature
I'm still having issues with the ARA2 feature but the standalone has given me no problems (beta 3).

Big big thx. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎸
so legally its ok to use these voices from the synth V pack ? I mean there wont be any copyright violations ?

Hello, thank you for your tutorial...
How do you get synthesizer pro into cubase extensions?
For me, it's only in VST Instruments !!!!???
is it because I have version 1.10.1 ???
Correct... the extensions feature is specifically for ARA support which has just been added in v1.11beta
👍@@mixphantom0101
Studio One also refuses to work with ARA

Hello! Where do I get an "ARA" plugin in Logic? Thanks,
Gianni♥
I don't think ARA is fully implemented in Logic. ARA is a native extension not a plugin... that is, it's like a bridge between Logic and Synth V.
@@mixphantom0101 So, if it were implemented, it would appear under AU Instruments? Like Vocaloid Bridge? Thanks!
Wow
