Loved the interview, she has such a calm grace talking about difficult things like not being able having kids.. we need to talk more about it because it’s hard and women should have support when it happens
@@ceterisparibus8966 Yes she did say that because in the Chinese culture, especially rich family that owns businesses like her ex husband, it is a desired thing to have sons to carry on the family name. In Michelle case, she wasn't able to conceive at all. That explains the separation.
What a sweet and charming conversation. Michelle Yeoh is charming, talented, and her outlook on life is really awesome. She's the definition of "citizen of the world!
@@ceterisparibus8966yes, she did say that. That was a comment indicated that HE wanted that and that’s why she step down. Understand that’s a cultural thing. Stop hating.
Michelle as Shu Lien in Crouching Tiger… the quiet grace combined with steely cool she radiates from start to finish in that movie is the one of the most mesmerising performances I have ever seen. I never tire of watching it. It is perfection.
@goop and Gwyneth, thank you for having Michelle on! So great to hear from diverse voices, gain new/different insights, relate to someone… and now just from the description alone, I’m hungry for dim sum.
This guest is authentic and very comfortable with herself, to be able to talk about and share things in a very honest and matter-of-fact way .. thank you Gwyneth for the interview. It's the first interview I saw with Gwyneth and I like how she doesn't interrupt the guests and lets them talk.
Michelle is a global icon. She embodies indomitable power when necessary yet gentle persusion when all else fails. Salutations and Blessings, Lady M. 🙏👸
It says a lot about her character....you see everyone...celebrities are human....they have and feel love and appreciate perhaps in most cases the things we mere mortals overlook.
Also couldn’t have kids and we tried for many years. Eventually my ex husband left me in the middle of in vitro. We will never friends after such a betrayal (insisting on destroying 6 frozen embryos) and I will not be anyone’s stepmother. It is as it is. I will not pretend to let it go, when no kindness was shown to me. My experience was much more brutal and that’s why going forward I plan only my freedom.
I love both of these incredible women....from Crouching Tiger to Star Trek to Everything Everywhere All at Once, Michelle Yeoh has had one of the most brilliant careers in acting....I had ran into Gwyneth Paltrow at an airport in Nice France in 2001....and she was the nicest most gracious, friendly and unpretentious person, as she briefly spoke to me at the baggage claim....
After much struggle trying to reach various stars, I was finally able to meet Keanu Reeves at a charity event hosted by the Keanu Reeves Foundation. I feel immensely fulfilled to have had a personal and private moment with him at last.
Oh, wow, I can't believe this. I've been trying to meet him for over two years now. All I've encountered are a lot of individuals impersonating him, and I have nothing to show for it.
@@dinh5532 I didn’t realize I owed anyone positive energy. Aren’t you the one on your high horse about allowing people to have their different life paths and experiences? So narcissistic to expect positive energy from everyone all the time and with language processing disabilities it’s often essential to be able to relate to what’s being communicated in some way. Was just a statement of fact. My childhood and adolescence and young adulthood too in fact were too traumatic abusive and neglectful for me to plan anything.
It’s so nice to see Michele shine at this age, her wisdom, knowledge and attitude towards life all paved the way to becoming a successful actress

Michelle Yeoh is such a beautiful soul - it just comes through in the calm, secure way in which she talks about difficult things.
Loved the interview and video format. Didn’t want it to end.
What a beautiful conversation. ❤
Michelle Yeoh is intelligent and amazing. We need to see her more centre stage in media than some of the horrible reality stars
what a beautiful legend michelle is… I love this conversation so much
I like that, I’m not a multi tasker. Very helpful. So many people feel nowadays that they have to be. We don’t. We can be whatever we wish.

Her accent is so thick. I thought a good actor can learn another language quickly and mimic the accent well. Thats a talent.

Why are the comments turned off on the Tracey Anderson workout video? Is it becuase u guys know it’s lame 😂😂
