Pam ”Before you Gooches go off the walls with the seed catalogs”. I laughed so hard, it was perfect. As always great information…I’m hoping one day I can get my ish together to be so well organized. Also you’d be an excellent writer, I’d love to add a book by you to my collection. 💛💚🧡
I have just started the video and I just want to say that seeing that you've uploaded a gardening video makes my day a 100 times better and I love your videos and personality ❤️❤️❤️
A wealth of information!! ❤️ My cousin’s have a house in PA and wanted to start growing veggies and fruit. This will come in handy because they know SQUAT about growing anything 🤣
So inspired! I am a baby gardener and the organization aspect freaked me out. Your calendar system and layout made so much sense. Love the garden journal too!
Hi Pam, love the way you are organized, I collect seeds from all fruits and vegetables that I eat and I do buy some. How long do you keep your seeds do you refresh them every year. For example I don’t use all the seeds I only use a couple and keep the rest for the next year. Some I had for more than 3 years. Have a great day 🥰💖💕
I keep them for years! I know tomato and pepper seeds can easily keep at least 8 years cause I’ve done it 😅 not on purpose I just never lose anything. Some stuff isn’t good for too long, I know onion seeds and pelleted seed in general you’re advised to use them the same year you buy them. I think squash seeds are around 3-4 years. Basically the germination rate just declines over the years, but you can definitely collect and store them long term! Way more fun than stamp collection!
The journal and calendar are great tips thanks. I think this is my "do way too much and learn the hard way" year. I appreciate what I know is good advice to throttle back but I'm incapable of controlling myself and refuse ro learn things unless it's the hard way. I did ask for a pressure canner for Christmas though and plan to get a dehydrator as well so hopefully we can stay on top of it. Fourteen kinds of tomatoes in my front yard is reasonable right? No? Oh well, grief does crazy things. here we go 🤷♀️
@@cassie6492 there are always more tomatoes! The "not to plant" pile is even bigger. I told myself I would plant the rest next year, as if I'm not going to go on an even more obscure deep dive and buy more and end up with the same problem. 😂
I did that thing where I saw the early announcement for the video and then counted down the minutes until it dropped to non subscribers and then got distracted 1,842 times in a row and now its 23hrs later and I'm finally watching. I think I might need to subscribe. 😂
Also that wall colour has officially burned into my brain. You should know that I used the phrase "Pam BlueGreen" yesterday and my husband knew exactly what I was referring to. ❤️
One quick note about journals - I'm a HUGE fan of bullet journaling. I don't get fancy, but the running index has been a total game changer for me. My brain doesn't work in a straight line, so being able to journal in a kind of stream of consciousness is amazing.
Oh my gosh! Thank you! Welcome to the Patreon! Got some cool shit coming up 🥰 “Pam Blue Green” will join the other spouse friendly nicknames I’ve earned from “F word Pam” to “Tattoo Pam” to “P3”
Last year I just used Kelp meal, and crab & lobster for amendments and watered fish emulsion in now and then. This year I threw down some granular stuff from espoma (plant tone I think) and kelp meal. I will put some compost on there soon too- from my pile
Thank you for all this information! We are wanting to get more serious with our garden this year so this video is SUPER helpful
My pleasure! Happy plantingb
9:38 I have never thought of painting rocks for garden markers before. I love that idea😊

👁️ had literally just done my first rough copy of my plan for the porch and then you popped up here - perfect timing! 🌱 Plus, you're amazing. 💚

😭 that warms my whole soul to hear! Thank you!! I have my favorite channels that do that for me and it’s amazing to be that for someone else. 💚💚
It’s going to be so fun to revisit this video next year when I can actually plant outside. So much good info! I love all the organizational tips!
Yesss I’m so glad it’s helpful! 🥰

We are kindred spirits my friend 😂
There's just so many tomatoes to choose from 🤣 I always tell myself that I don't need to plant so many varieties and then do it again the next year.

Very informative. Thank you for sharing. Now to think about what I want to plant this year. Still LOTS of snow on the ground here.
I hope it’s all gone soon!!
Great video! 💙

Bullet journals legit sorta saved my adult life. No joke.
I like your wall color
4 seconds in and I’m taking it as my hint to light up 🤪
LOL girl I should have skipped the pre film sesh that day for sure 😂
“When smoking for “motivation” fails”
🤣 Don’t worry story of my life. At least you did what you set out to do! An achievement in itself
You're so much more organized than me 😂
It’s either this or everything goes tits up by May 😂
I don’t have it in me to start seeds this year, but that’s okay because now I get to go plant shopping!
I *love* this positive mindset 🤣
Hi. I wanted to get one of those pens you use for writing your outdoor plant labels but can’t remember what it is called. ❤️
“Garden Marker”!
@@PamsPrettyPlants thanks Pam!! Just ordered:)
What are you fertilizing the garlic with?

New England weather be like …😈🥵🥶
SERIOUSLY, and now we have a cold spell coming just in time to damage all my baby plants 😅
