- The big adventure is back on! Camping at Watumba Creek and fishing for Marlin at Rooney's Point on Fraser Island is a real adventure that came with a few mishaps along the way. With over 400km travelled in total, the new boat did the trip like a champ. Looking forward to the next adventure for sure.

I don’t understand how this channel doesn’t have millions of subs yet. Your time is coming Rod we just need to get this algorithm flowing.
Man, drones and camera tech have really allowed homemade films to skyrocket in quality. The drone shots a few minutes in with the music really felt like i was watching a top quality wildlife doc or something. Thank you for your channel!
"He has actually punctured the boat...who would've thought?"
Every single one of us. LOL.
Spoiler alert!!!!
wonder if they sell stick on kevlar
Thumbs up for admitting it’s mad to chase marlin in a inflatable haha 😂
Inflatable or deflatable?
i could watch these island campings all day! never stop!
did you stop?
@@senorcaracortada nope :D
1:26 "if you're thinking it's a silly idea to chase marlin with a big sharp pointy thing on the front of their face on an inflatable boat...………...your right"
29:07 "this.....ahhh…..has been a little more eventful than I expected"
hahaha you crack me up Rod, Great vid! Lucky it wasn't your leg bro, hope you got a better plan for the next one haha
That little black marlin would make an awesome trophy mount. Props to you for juggling all the action and still getting good shots. That's got be mental
Bro. Hello from the southern U.S.A. I absolutely love your adventures and I aspire to do the same. I love the idea of camping and fishing solo on deserted islands. Please keep the videos coming
Don’t think I could ever trust myself to go on a tiny inflatable boat with minimal supplies by myself across the ocean. But that’s really testament to you, and goes to show you don’t need the biggest and fastest donk on the market to enjoy yourself and explore. That’s living, Well done 👍🏻🇦🇺👌🏻
I thought exactly that!
Do you have the backup of an emergency Satellite phone or Emergency Beacon just in case? I most certainly would.
Just bought a new RHIB for my sailboat (9 ft with 6 hp Yamaha). It has to fit on my foredeck or I’d buy one like yours. Awesome channel. Bless your wife for letting you disappear alone and film it!
3:00 the colour of that water. Beautiful
It's really interesting seeing what the camping experience is like in a different part of the world. I'm used to snow and dense forests being in Canada, so these videos are fascinating to me
If you wet the sand packed around your cooler it keep it colder. The evaporation effect will help you keep food longer. Keep adding sea water as needed.
My favorite Aussie. Your videos make me smile
I love this. So detailed. I’m sad. I’m nearly at the end of watching all of your videos. It’s such an amazing type of life. I love it
I actually laughed out loud about the marlin and inflatable boat thing hahaha
What an awesome video!! Serious original stuff. Love this channel and commentary.
Leave your audience wanting more. I'm looking foward to the exciting conclusion of this movie.
This was the conclusion. Boat sank and he had to swim to shore. All his camera gear went down with the ship. lol
@@randomstuffwithjoe This washed up in a camera :)
Haha, don’t ruin the ending fellas😆
i could just watch a montage of your intros, so well made
This my new favorite channel lol
The views combined with the music is to die for. I long to live to catch and cook lol
Than you for the video. You just gave a mid age crisis man nice things to dream about. Good night.
LOL, first thing I thought of when you unveiled that boat, shark gonna eat it. Baby Marlin tackles it and blows a hole in the side, I can just see Rod madly using a bicycle pump to blow up the pontoon while sharks circle...epic stuff. I'm surprised your balls don't sink that boat from the weight bro, you keep goin, Youngbloods got nothing on you man, nothing...
Agreed, I'd watch him over ybs anyway
@@DConnor799 it is, thats why they do so well... ;)
@@DConnor799 Ive watched him from the start and i'm starting to feel the same.
@@DConnor799 pretty big difference between using gas vehicles and building a pipeline through pristine undeveloped land.
whats the point in attacking another youtuber just enjoy whoever you want no need to bring down anyone else
You know what man your gonna do great things with this channel.you have amazing content brother. Before you know it this is going to be your full time job . I have faith in you and many can agree
If you put a wet towel over the cooler and wet the sand it will cool ice box by the evaporation effect. It might keep ice a little longer. You have plenty of water.
I grew up in Darwin, Northern Territory. Your videos make me very nostalgic.
That first cleat tie off had me crackin up
Great to see you experience Hervey Bay(Urangan) on way to kgarri. Did same journey with my son many moons ago camping same area. We loved and thrived on it. I hope to do it again 1day with grandkids. Keep the flicks coming. Orsum m8.
This is THE dream, boys. Glad I found your channel binge watching on UA-cam. Subscribed.

That big long pointy thing, gotcha good! Mad as a hatter I reckon. Good thing he did get you. Those Marlin's are crazy dangerous to catch.
I think this is the best channel for now during this CORONA issue. I really enjoy watching your videos brother. I hope one day I also set my feet on sand and just enjoy the water crashing on the shoreline😊 More power and adventure dude!
Love the new boat ( so much easier to handle) and goes like a RoKKIT!! The passion for fishing is so contagious and your productions are so amazing and keep the rest of us going till our next fishing adventures. Thanks M8.

I hope someone will sponsor you even just a small sturdy boat... Not inflatable ones... Good luck. Your a good mate.
I just found your channel and I have been binge watching your videos Since 4pm til now which is 1:46am here in Dallas tx. Amazing videos my bro!!!
Just slapped subscribe and threw a like, been binging your content lately, lets keep this algorithm boost rollin
Absolute you tube gold. Your a legend doing that in a floaty.
Big big balls pal. HAT OFF TO YOU.
Not to mention you pulled it off Without a hospital visit. Keep up the good content but make sure you get home to your fam in one piece. Without holes.
Wishing you well and tight lines.
Extremely envious you lucky ducky then again I could be living in Arizona 😱
This puts a whole new spin on self isolation.
Haha wow. You called it Rod. Well handled under pressure! That thing was going mental!
watched every second of his videos and I get surprised how fast they go by and that says something about his content! well done mate subscribed
A quick rundown on your motor would be rad, pretty interested to know what the surf mechanic did with tweaks, thing sounds 👌👌👌. I feel the 9.8/18hp are a bit too refined from the factory meeting emissions etc before 4stroke was all that dealers could sell.
"Now that we've covered that.. let's go." I fucking love that
Bindis... deceitful prickles, let you get half way across a yard before they get ya.. can not wait for part two. Rubber ducky is a winner regardless mate! Good to see an early hook up after last trip there though. 🧵🧶
Awesome video bro, keep up the excellent work💪🏽🤙🏾
Great videos mate ❤👌 Much Love from Saskatchewan, Canada!!
Came across your channel from UA-cam Recommendations and now I'm hooked! Can't stop watching your videos - super entertaining, and quite informative about fishing/camping. Thanks for the amazing content. Looking forward to future videos!

I definitely have to do this one day. Fanfreakingtastic!
@RoKKit KiT You are an inspiration. It is so peacefull and an awesome experience, thank you for sharing!
It's like you knew in advance that the said marlin was going to pig stick your boat, Nah lucky guess I say LOL. Rod, good vid mate love the drone shots and accompanying music, Thank you for bring us with you on your adventures.
Ha, yea I knew there was always a chance, but I didn’t think it would happen so quickly 😅
Great content rod keep up the grind!
A Wet hessian bag (coffee bean bag) placed under the esky will help to keep the ice longer.
Whoever gave this a thumbs down clearly has no idea!!!....Epic adventure 🎣🤙
Keep ice longer by putting ice in the night before and dont put anything in thats not already cold. A cooler (esky!) will try and hold the temp of the items inside it. Just a little tip i learned maybe you didnt know it already. New to your channel keep up the good work!
I need to give up my US and move to Australia, paradise
Keep up the good work! Love your videos!
UA-cam knows me too well. Great videos, you have (another) new subscriber. Keep up the good work!
You doing a circumnavigation with all that fuel??? 😂

nice.. a little advice about your car ,please install a fuel cut off switch. it will insure your car will be there when you get back.....
Haha, yea as long as I don’t get it back once they take it it’s all good😂
Can’t believe you were in Hervey Bay! I go fishing on the pier. It’s sick!

Regardless of what anyone says, I absolutely love your channel and all the content you put out mate! Especially the overnight camping trips with spearfishing/catch and cooks!! Keep it up mate 👍 👊 💯
Its silly to try to catch marlin in an inflatable boat, crazy is more like it...That's why I love watching your vids & living vicariously thru you...Peace
i use double uni's as well, , theyre solid knots
That’s the way to camp bud
Not gonna lie I liked this video just because he has a coles bag in it, true respect
what a cliffhanger.. well i guess u made it alright cause the videos were still uploaded.. 👍🏻👊🏻
I can't wait to watch part 2... OMG!
Bloody good just subscribed
Those wheels would have created a fair bit of resistance. Fuel consumption will be better without them if you haven't already removed them. I didn't notice if they were left on or not. Awesome vids mate, I enjoy all your stuff 😎
They fold up out of the water when you’re underway 👍
I started Binge watching this guy xD
Those video taking skills are reaching pro level👍
Stunning
Living the dream mate, keep the adventure coming 🌅
That was FUCKING EPIC! GREAT SHOTS. Started off with like Sergio Leone cinematography. Ended with a seen out of a Quentin Tarantino film. that was first rate tube right there!
Again u never fail to impress epic man
