  • Found a new island to camp on and went for an explore to see if I could catch dinner. Came across some ocean blowholes, wrecked boats and what I think was a dolphin skeleton! Always fun venturing out into the wild, hope you enjoy this series🤙

I am happy to spend hours watching his live streams, even when he doesn't catch anything or even to rewatch videos I've seen previously. Rod's just that good.

That "dirty" water you drove through early in the video, I believe, is called a coral bloom. That is extremely good for the environment because it ensures growth and development of our reefs. I think it only happens once a year or even less often than that. I think the coral waits for perfect conditions before releasing their seeds, and I believe it can take several years before the bloom takes place. Cheers bro!

You should try using your spear shaft as a tickle stick for the crawfish/lobster. We like to gently tickle them out of their holes and snatch them up. Also we use a pole with a slip loop on the end to slip over their tails and pull it tight. Can get luck with grabbing ahold of one of the antennas but you know how easy the break.
