So, let me get this straight. China builds supply chain for the entire globe, while we are going to decouple from that and build a separate chain for just the U.S, that is, markets for ~8B global consumers vs. 0.34B just for Americans. Does that make business sense?

Decoupling from China will not be done overnight but the process must be accelerated. They are unreliable.
