My goal for 2023 is to train hard for an upcoming 100km ultra marathon next year. Just so you know, Haziq is my office mate who encouraged me to start a running streak. I began the running streak in December last year, and today marks an impressive 185 consecutive days of running. Thank you, Ziq, for being such an inspiration to me.
My initial running journey target this year is to be running 10K everyday to build up more on my endurance whilst trying to get sub 30 on 5K for threshold purpose. Started running (consistently) a month ago and went from running my first 5K on pace 9-10 to hitting pace 7 a few days ago! Beyond delighted to see the gradual, healthy improvement tracked with my Coros Pace 2. Also, apparently with the aid of the Coros App, my athletic lingo/ jargons has expanded; Aerobic, VO2max, cadence, HR, LSD, PB, Fartlek, etc. As if I’m learning a whole new language. Call me Miss Multilingual 🙋♀️ But Haziq, notice I’ve put the word initial on my first sentence?! After watching your video, I’m also now inspired to join, or establish even (with God’s will), a community club of new, young runners at my place by this year! Hi Haziq. Anda salah seorang idola saya. Followed you in strava & fb. You inspired me and motivated me to get going. I started running masa covid, zaman kegemilangan dalgona. Masa tu berat dah reached 98kg. So decided to do running (untuk elak sakit sebab banyak family history jantung/stroke) since masa pkp tu lari & basikal ja boleh. Alhamdulillah masih istiqamah sehingga sekarang, berat dah turun 72kg dan rasa makin sihat. Total mileage target this year 1610km and currently dah 1165.02km. InshaAllah for KLSCM this year target nak buat sub 5. Teruskan menginspirasikan kami semua Haziq! Semoga terus sukses!

Bukan senang utk someone yang kerja shift yang tak menentu utk consistency dalam training, kunci dia adalah PASSION. Saya sendiri pun alami betapa susahnya nak consistent dengan shift kerja sentiasa bertukar tapi bila dah 2 tahun saya berlari baru saya realize yang running ni not only change our body, it change our mind, attitude & mood. Saya lebih positif & displin bila run, sebabtu saya masih teruskan passion ini. 2023 adalah tahun ke2 join KLSCM dan target adalah Sub130 Half Marathon. @safuanzakaria
Goal aku tahun ni, nak buat runstreak jgk. Pernah buat runstreak 2 bulan lepas tu kecundang haha. Actually aku dah berlari lama cuma x konsisten. 2017 aku kena acl terus stop futsal dan bola sepak n start lari 2018. Cuma xde specific target sgt, tapi suka tgk data larian i.e pace, calories, time, fastest pace in 1km, 5km, etc. So aku akan compare data data ni dan cuba beat utk larian esok pula. Ulang2 sampai puas hati. Setakat ni x join mana2 event. Maybe someday inshaAllah. 2023 aku target lari dan turunkan berat badan sehingga capai berat normal aku (75kg)😅..in love with running, new technology of shoes, gps watches, caps etc etc.. ok Haziq. A question that is often asked to me, "why do you running?" I dont have the specific answer to that but i have a lot of reason why im running. Firstly, i am enthusiastic and passionate in sport. Ive been playing sport since i was child. Since primary school i represent in a lot of sport handball, hockey, track & field, football and many more eventhough just at low level. Move on to secondary school & before that one more thing about me is that i love to try something new and during my time in secondary school i get to know rugby and start to play it and what i can say that i love it so much. My passion back then was Eat, Sleep, Rugby. During that time i hate running, i hate when i need to run during fitness test or during training. I hate to do suicide run, intervals and what i hate the most is 2.4km run. I always find a way to cheat back then. But near the end of 2015, during school break i was 16 that time, i get involved in motorcycle accident and it causing my shoulder and hip to fracture. One of the dark moment in my life since i am active person and because of the hip fracture, i cannot stand on my leg for about 6 month and i need to stop being a person that who i really loved which is playing sport. I cant run neither to walk properly. Ive being in recovery state for almost 1 year. 2016 is not my year. 2017, i recovered but not 100%, i can walk properly and i can run again but still feel pain at the fractured part. Im doing active recovery and 2018 i can say that im 100% recovered and ready to roll again. I can go back playing sport again but my fitness level have drop so much since i stop for so long time. I once go to selection to represent my university but i cant pass the screening because my fitness level so low. So i take that is motivation and wanting to gain my fitness back i start to do self training and during that i start to running. I hate to run but i need to run. But in 2020, the covid-19 have spread across the world and the lockdown begin. We cannot go out because of the MCO that means no pyhsical activity involving a group of people. Im so affected that time, i dont like to lay down at home doing nothing, i like to go out and play. Time after time the MCO have loosen a little which only sport that no need pyhsical touch can be played and one of it running because running dont need a group of people to do. Only need you on your own to start. So i take the oppurtunity, rather than doing nothing i go for a run. I hate running but thats the only thing i can do for sports. From that i start to fall in love with running. From start running because thats the only thing i can do i became very passionate into running. From run once a week to running almost everyday. Lets takk about running a little, maybe you can say that running is easy things to do because every people can do it because we have doing that since we were born. We learn to crawl, learn to walk and learn to run. But it is far greater than you imagine. Yes running should be easy, just move the pair of your leg and then you can start running. But when you start running, you start to see what running really is. haha terlalu tengok plak video ni. awat requiment dia myvi.. bukan Proton Saga? hahaha.. ape pon gud luck guys. aku baru je join bersukan lps brenti smoking 2018 lepas. tp main santai gitu je. then dec 2020 sampai mid 2022 terpaksa off exercise sbb ada infection sket, 6 bulan kena makan obat dgn tiap bulan dating dgn pakar..siap jual jam sokan bagai .. last year around julai tu baru start balik geli-geli, beli balik jam sokan n mcm biasa sambung layan santai2. ikutkan event + long mileage ni x onz sangat. tp masa tgh beraya aidilfitri kazen roger ajak daftar standed, tgh beraya dkt kampung time tu lah terhegeh2 tekan daftar. bbrp kali jugak failed daftar kononnya dh penuh. tp berjaya jugak daftar untuk separuh marathon. bak kata orang, daftar dulu pening2 kemudian. makanya tahun ni punya goal kita cuba untuk finish the event. memandangkan after episode of the infection tu, dari pemerhatian sendiri agak nmpak tahap performance ketika bersukan agak cepat degrade compare zaman sblm infection tu. offday seminggu dua ibarat, tekan button restart whole fitness to the bottom. then dalam segi pemakanan juga, agak cepat kelaparan. so utk HM standed carted ni kita tgk la, dapat settle bawah 2.30 pon rasa bangga dh kot haha. maklum la pestimer, buat masa ni dok layan je garmin coaching yg paling pemalas 3 hari seminggu haha. so eksperiment kita nk tgk berjaya tk santai mode target bawah 2.30 haha. yg kazen sorang ni pon pestimer gk, tp base fitness dia agak tinggi sket dari kita ni maklumla dia biasa berlari kejar bola hhaha.. orite.. ape pun goal tuan.. semoga berjaya dan sukses. @azamtakafuji

Target aku untuk tahun ni untuk break sub 3:30 fm InsyaAllah next klscm. My main driven factor untuk aku terus berlari 1 ja, family aku ada keturunan sakit jantung, pakcik aku meninggal sebab sakit jantung & latest arwah ayah aku pon sama. Mungkin target plan aku tak dasyat macam orang lain.. cuma untuk 2nd FM attempt dlm life aku ni.. aku nak kekal berlari tanpa berjalan untuk ke finishline.. sebab 1st attempt FM kt borneo marathon baru ni.. KM26 onwards aku dah start mental down, kaki pun dah start cramp, aku bnyk kan power walk dari berlari.. walaupun tetap finisher before COT 7, tp masih perlu diperbaiki untuk self esteem aku.. dan aku juga sbgai seorang yg bukan atlit, atau hanya sekadar baru mencuba larian jarak jauh ni, sebenarnya tak senang nk achieve satu2 goal kalau kita letak goal yg luar batas kita.. so aku tak letak kn pace, atau subs yg mustahil untuk aku, atau yg akan kecewakan aku.. cukup sekadar perbaik apa yg perlu.. tq haziq sbb inspired dr sebelum ni 💪🏻.. @hanshlm
Main Target For this year in running is to achieve Sub 40 for 10km and do at least 3HM(currently have done 1 but kinda stuck because phone battery always die before i reach 21km since i dont have watch but still wouldnt stop me @denelpoh
I have big goals for this year . My target is to be ironman 70.3 finisher as this is my wishlist target since i started running in 2015. I used to love running everyday but then everything changed after i stop running due to injuries and work commitments . I gained weight drastically from 74kg to 110kg with no life balance and became someone who hate sport and love eating . Until i changed my work recently and set back the 2015 goals which to become ironman 70.3 finisher . I started back my running journey in last year ocotober with MAF 60 to build my base back and decided to sign up ironman 70.3 this year . Since then i structured back my running plan and sign up several event which several HM events / tri event and recently powerman . I also set the target to atleast run HM every month which currently i completed all the 6 HM since january and wish to complete all 12 months HM journey . Its quite hard to start but with all the support from family and my running team nothing is impossible . Wish me all the best in my journey this year . @kodengmolly

Goal Tahun ni nak cuba buat Half Marathon sub 3 hours and dapatkan milleage 1000++ . Terjebak dalam dunia larian ni sejak join event Penang Bridge 2022. Walaupun masih baru tp sudah terasa ada passion dalam dunia larian ni. Dan cuba untuk menjadikan dunia larian ni sebagai satu lifestyle dalam hidup saya. Hi haziq, sasaran saya untuk tahun ini adalah menghabiskan marathon penuh bawah masa 4 jam di KLSCM kelak. Mengimpikan sasaran tersebut di KLSCM 2019 namun gagal (4 jam 34 minit), mungkin masih kurang pengalaman dari segi nutrisi dan pemulihan, mungkin boleh kongsi di vlog seterusnya. Tahun berikutnya tidak mendaftar apa apa acara larian akibat (covid & kehendak kerja). Sekarang sudah hampir setahun kembali dalam dunia larian dan sedang menjalani latihan asas untuk ke acara KLSCM 2023. Betul minat sahaja susah untuk mencapai sesuatu impian jika tidak konsisten. Just started obses with running last year & start gaining knowledge about running. Sebelum ni takda ilmu asyik lari kerja nak tekan je. Taktau what is easy run, interval, fartlek etc. Tapi since last year baru belajar & hopefully tahun ni dapat break sub 95’ untuk HM dekat KLSCM. Tahun 2022, the worst running year for me. Injured ankle, DNF Cultra, out 1 month. Covid, out another month. Cough/flu, lagi satu bulan. Didn't give up, and coming back stronger. Just completed 50k Janda Baik Ultra, and aiming to revenge CULTRA with 60km race. Aim just to enjoy the trail, fantastic view and company of friends in the race. Time doesn't matter yet, just get stronger and I'm sure I'll get faster. P/S - 100km race in Thailand end this year 💪 @chenghoe.lim

last year around julai tu baru start balik geli-geli, beli balik jam sokan n mcm biasa sambung layan santai2. ikutkan event + long mileage ni x onz sangat. tp masa tgh beraya aidilfitri kazen roger ajak daftar standed, tgh beraya dkt kampung time tu lah terhegeh2 tekan daftar. bbrp kali jugak failed daftar kononnya dh penuh. tp berjaya jugak daftar untuk separuh marathon. bak kata orang, daftar dulu pening2 kemudian. makanya tahun ni punya goal kita cuba untuk finish the event. memandangkan after episode of the infection tu, dari pemerhatian sendiri agak nmpak tahap performance ketika bersukan agak cepat degrade compare zaman sblm infection tu. offday seminggu dua ibarat, tekan button restart whole fitness to the bottom. then dalam segi pemakanan juga, agak cepat kelaparan. so utk HM standed carted ni kita tgk la, dapat settle bawah 2.30 pon rasa bangga dh kot haha. maklum la pestimer, buat masa ni dok layan je garmin coaching yg paling pemalas 3 hari seminggu haha. so eksperiment kita nk tgk berjaya tk santai mode target bawah 2.30 haha. yg kazen sorang ni pon pestimer gk, tp base fitness dia agak tinggi sket dari kita ni maklumla dia biasa berlari kejar bola hhaha.. orite.. ape pun goal tuan.. semoga berjaya dan sukses.

My main driven factor untuk aku terus berlari 1 ja, family aku ada keturunan sakit jantung, pakcik aku meninggal sebab sakit jantung & latest arwah ayah aku pon sama. Mungkin target plan aku tak dasyat macam orang lain.. cuma untuk 2nd FM attempt dlm life aku ni.. aku nak kekal berlari tanpa berjalan untuk ke finishline.. sebab 1st attempt FM kt borneo marathon baru ni.. KM26 onwards aku dah start mental down, kaki pun dah start cramp, aku bnyk kan power walk dari berlari.. walaupun tetap finisher before COT 7, tp masih perlu diperbaiki untuk self esteem aku.. dan aku juga sbgai seorang yg bukan atlit, atau hanya sekadar baru mencuba larian jarak jauh ni, sebenarnya tak senang nk achieve satu2 goal kalau kita letak goal yg luar batas kita.. so aku tak letak kn pace, atau subs yg mustahil untuk aku, atau yg akan kecewakan aku.. cukup sekadar perbaik apa yg perlu.. tq haziq sbb inspired dr sebelum ni 💪🏻.. @hanshlm

I have big goals for this year . My target is to be ironman 70.3 finisher as this is my wishlist target since i started running in 2015. I used to love running everyday but then everything changed after i stop running due to injuries and work commitments . I gained weight drastically from 74kg to 110kg with no life balance and became someone who hate sport and love eating . Until i changed my work recently and set back the 2015 goals which to become ironman 70.3 finisher . I started back my running journey in last year ocotober with MAF 60 to build my base back and decided to sign up ironman 70.3 this year . Since then i structured back my running plan and sign up several event which several HM events / tri event and recently powerman . I also set the target to atleast run HM every month which currently i completed all the 6 HM since january and wish to complete all 12 months HM journey . Its quite hard to start but with all the support from family and my running team nothing is impossible . Wish me all the best in my journey this year . @kodengmolly

Goal Tahun ni nak cuba buat Half Marathon sub 3 hours and dapatkan milleage 1000++ . Terjebak dalam dunia larian ni sejak join event Penang Bridge 2022. Walaupun masih baru tp sudah terasa ada passion dalam dunia larian ni. Dan cuba untuk menjadikan dunia larian ni sebagai satu lifestyle dalam hidup saya. Hi haziq, sasaran saya untuk tahun ini adalah menghabiskan marathon penuh bawah masa 4 jam di KLSCM kelak. Mengimpikan sasaran tersebut di KLSCM 2019 namun gagal (4 jam 34 minit), mungkin masih kurang pengalaman dari segi nutrisi dan pemulihan, mungkin boleh kongsi di vlog seterusnya. Tahun berikutnya tidak mendaftar apa apa acara larian akibat (covid & kehendak kerja). Sekarang sudah hampir setahun kembali dalam dunia larian dan sedang menjalani latihan asas untuk ke acara KLSCM 2023. Betul minat sahaja susah untuk mencapai sesuatu impian jika tidak konsisten. Just started obses with running last year & start gaining knowledge about running. Sebelum ni takda ilmu asyik lari kerja nak tekan je. Taktau what is easy run, interval, fartlek etc. Tapi since last year baru belajar & hopefully tahun ni dapat break sub 95’ untuk HM dekat KLSCM. Tahun 2022, the worst running year for me. Injured ankle, DNF Cultra, out 1 month.
Covid, out another month.
Cough/flu, lagi satu bulan.
Didn't give up, and coming back stronger. Just completed 50k Janda Baik Ultra, and aiming to revenge CULTRA with 60km race.
Aim just to enjoy the trail, fantastic view and company of friends in the race. Time doesn't matter yet, just get stronger and I'm sure I'll get faster.
P/S - 100km race in Thailand end this year 💪

Now I really need pace 2 substitute my phone for as my daily companion of training device coz sometimes when run with phone like hitting arm workout in gym😂
