    For sale is a ready to drive 1969 Buick GS400 Hardtop Coupe finished in factory code correct 55B- Turquoise Mist Poly with a Black vinyl top and matching code 188- Black vinyl bucket seat interior! This stand out muscle car is powered by its original 400ci V8 Ram Air engine and Super Turbine 400 automatic transmission and has been wonderfully restored with originality in mind! Options are abundant which include factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power door locks (in-op), Delco All-Transistor AM/FM radio with working Stereo Tape System (8-track), rear seat speaker & power antenna, rear window defroster, remote driver mirror, trunk & glove box lamp, door edge guards, all tinted Soft-Ray glass, 14” styled steel wheels wrapped in raised white letter tires, and more.
    This example was built in Wilmington, Delaware and sold new from Lash Buick-Cadillac based in Carlisle, PA to Leroy E. Thumma on November 15, 1968. Our professional team found this GS400 parked in an Arlington, Texas collection where it has been highly cared for since January 2015. Its previous owners had the original engine completely freshened at 84,695 miles with new camshaft, cam bearings, lifters and springs, timing chain, rear main seal, all new gaskets, a of which was completely detailed for shows! Today, the odometer shows only 86,397 miles. More recent servicing records include a full air condition service with a new compressor clutch, rebuilt carburetor, fresh engine oil/filter, new exhaust manifolds and gaskets, new master brake cylinder and wheel cylinders, along with other routine maintenance items. Upon purchase, this classic Buick will come complete with the original owner's manual, factory warranty booklet with Protect-O-Plate, accessory brochure, service manual, shop manual, and six 8-track tapes waiting in the glove box. The trunk houses a spare tire, jack, tools, cover, and trunk mat.

    I had a 69 GS 400 as well. I sold it about 8 years ago. I still miss that car. Verde Green with tan interior. Buckets, console and sport steering wheel.

    The '68 & '69 Skylark and Gran Sport were great looking cars. It's like a '69 Chevelle and one of those custom '49 Mercury's had a baby. Once you see one in person, that's it!

      Interesting car, I think the 3 speed is the rarest transmission option on these cars. I have a 68 Skylark with the 350/4 and a super turbine 300 (2 speed). They are fun cars.

    GM should have allowed these GS in the late 60's to have the option of the 430 engines. GM had some fantastic 7 liter v8s.

      10w-30 with a high zinc content is good. I’ve used the Lucas brand hot rod and classic oil. Seems fine.
