This movie is a masterpiece. I am still surprised why nobody talks about it
I saw this film. It is BEAUTIFUL. My traumatic stress from being forced to attend Transformers 2 is cured by this film.
“I am DIRECTLY BELOW….
ᵗʰᵉ ᵉⁿᵉᵐʸ ˢᶜʳᵒᵗᵘᵐ.”
This movie is very special. I had the pleasure to see in Hungary. Four times.
Seeing this movie was truly an unique experience. Loved every bit of it! (Saw it in Hungary)
I loved the use of Postmodern Jukebox’s covers in this movie.
You Hungarians are lucky you saw this film already
Masterpiece ! This movie will be a classic.
Yo who created this. I never knew I needed something like this.
Enjoyed it this past weekend. Trying to tell everyone to check it out. None of the negative reviews hold much weight for me. I really enjoyed it.
Was it really good? Debating whether or not to see it.
How is this movie not super famous
the time has not come yet
@SkinnyEMedia Mature animation never looked so promising. RUBEN BRANDT, COLLECTOR is one of them. Looks to be more promising than TOY STORY 4.
I saw yesterday (in the USA). Very worth watching.... best I can describe it is "trippy"......I highly recommend , it is very cool..
What a gloriously heady experience! I can't wait to see it again
Screenplay A Million Times better than Velvet Buzzsaw
Saw it yesterday. (Netherlands) Really refreshing animation and surprisingly good!
Such an awesome movie! I saw it in theaters last month. I have no idea why it was rated R though.
Cody Gearheart It was rated R for some violence and nude images.
You innocent soul...
It should’ve been rated PG-13
In the opening scene there is a book "Mike Dimitroff: Deep Sleep". Is this a real book or there is a real book only the author/title changed?!
Absolutely fantastic piece of art
movie freaks me out but in a good way I've rewatched it like 3 times and i get chills everytime
That song "Shomma Shomma Shomma Shomma" is playing in my head even when I sleep. What a wonderful movie. I liked the strange aeroplane designs.
Tell me please if u've found it
Such an underrated masterpiece.
OMG what a movie, Milorad Krstic is genius. Scenario, direction, animation is all fantastic. I started to watch and I returned to my childhood, when you start reading an interesting comic book and you can not interrupt.
Saw it yesterday in the cinema, it is a true masterpiece
What made it good?
@@collincunneely9461 Well, you can think a lot of the plot, and all the artwork is amazing. Watch it and you will see :)

Debussy: Prélude à L'après-midi d'un Faune
@@emmaaltham6584 Thank you so much!!!
can someone explain to me the ending? i didn't get it
Yeah I was left with more questions after the ending.
Here's my theory: the train that we see at the beginning and the end of the movie is a representation of Ruben's life. Everything in between (mostly) really happens, but the beginning and the end are symbolic. In the last scene we don't see the whole train, but only the part where Ruben sits, symbolizing that we only see a small part of his life.
As for the snail and the train, there is a clear struggle between fast and slow. I think this also may apply to how Ruben experiences his life. As a kid, he wants to play with snails. This may symbolize that Ruben wants a more relaxed life.
I don't know, these are just some thoughts. But i really like this about this movie. You can keep on thinking endlessly about it.
really interesting and unique movie. kinda had inception vibes
Visually beautiful
I saw this movie a few minutes ago. Gotta say it was good, but it wasn't too good. The voice acting is really quiet at some points so i couldn't hear certain portions of it. Also the end felt kinda lack luster and it got kinda confusing (partially because I couldn't hear some of the dialogue) though I suppose it was supposed to be somewhat confusing in the first place.
That audiojungle watermark at 1:25 tho lol
This looks real cool
absolute genius!!!!
Its playing in Orange County CA tonight -- undecided if Ill go hmmm...
I don’t want to go into the black
Genius!
YO WHERE CAN I WATCH THIS
Please, bring back Tex Avery!!!!!!!
Sony is getting better with animation.
Where can I watch this?
Breathtakingly beautiful👑, once the film🎞starts it is hypnotizing💞 to it's completely understandable cyclic♾closure👏🏿
From Which It Came
Please somebody tell me what is the name of the music in final scrne
hamid reza hamidi: I am not 100 % sure but I think it's "L'aprés-midi d'une faune" from Debussy - a very haunting but utterly beautiful piece. But you may find googling it: surely the film music is listed somewhere.
Masterpiece
Why has everyone seen this in Hungary
couse it's a hungarian movie
oh
Abstract art
Yes that is true

It's amazinggggg!❤
Did not like. The people do not look like humans0
Great movie, just felt lacking polish artistically.
Impressing. Is it just me or ARE there allusions to other films i. e. "pulp fiction" (as for the eye-gestures before dancing) or "Sherlock" with the dark wind-beaten coat on a high building...?
"innovation"?
Saw this movie at a Filmfestival and I gotta say, it's unique and not in a good way. The most striking of all is that it is just really badly written. I mean some of the really corny jokes might be okay depending on your taste, but still. I remember constantly turning to the person next to me whispering "wow that's so stupid".
The really forced set up of the detective talking to his mom about "when will you tell me who my real dad is?" is just one example.
Also the female characters? While watching the movie I was wondering if any real woman actually had a say in making this movie. One of them was a knock off Catwoman and the other? On the phone passing on information to important detective man. Did she have to be naked in a bathtub for that? No. Was she naked in a bathtub while all the male main character got to be fully clothed and running around doing "important business"? Yes.
The twists at the end where lazy and not much of a surprise.
The design was the only slightly entertaining part of the movie. But to be honest not enough to carry this whole 93 minute mess of a movie.
