Many people with crooked teeth are embarrassed about smiling. Even though I had relatively straight teeth for most of my teenage years and early adulthood, overtime the lack of space for my wisdom teeth slowly moved my teeth crooked.
I bit the bullet, and decided to try clear aligner therapy, and I am so glad I did.
Clear aligner therapy is an alternative to braces. A series of special aligners are made for your teeth that you wear 23 hours a day. You take them out just for eating and drinking, which is one of the reasons why they are really great and versatile.
For more information check out Sunbird Orthodontics online:

The trays are called aligners not retainers. Retainers are used at the end of aligner treatment. Thanks for sharing
Nice video...wish I can afford Invisalign
Just started my Invisalign today- supposed to be 6 months. Thanks for making this video! You are lovely. 🥰😁
Thanks- good luck, stick with it and you will be so happy you did! 6 months is super short- so lucky
Thank you for documenting your journey!! My invisalign journey starts very soon! I'm more at ease now after watching this!
What a result! So beautiful
Her calling the Attachments “Glue” how sway 😂😂😂
Thank you so much, you covered everything wonderfully. Just begun my process 😊
Very interesting. Takes real determination!
Thanks for this documentary, very informative, I’m about to start my teeth alignment and gap closure therapy, well thanks 😊
This is a nice content. Thanks for putting all these together 😊
I am on tray 25 of 32 and have also experienced changes in my bite. It’s impossible to chew adequately right now, just hoping that this situation will resolve as it did with you!
it will! Keep up the great work
@@breetv9834 Thank you for the encouragement! Actually it already has improved a great deal. Now I’m on track to finish in March! Very pleased.
@@patclaus8510 yeah it's amazing the transformation. You will LOVE it when it's done.
Hello my friend I'm having 33 trays may i know how many weeks do you wear each tray
@@pranithapranitha8851 Hi! I wear them for seven days now. I started out at two weeks for the first month or so, then ten days for another month, then seven days ever since then. I am on the second series of trays, with this series being 23 trays. My first series was 32 trays. I am almost through, I hope, although one of my canines still needs to move a bit.
awesome video😊
Good morning. I can’t across your video. You are awesome and very positive. I’ve been meaning to get invisilign but I’m afraid of the pain
Don't be afraid, it's not that bad and if it is at any point paracetamol does the trick
It’s not that bad, really. Just use your chewies to set your trays firmly in place and after that your teeth will have moved. Then drink some ice water and take an aspirin or Motrin, etc. And it’s really only that first tray that’s uncomfortable in my experience.
@@patclaus8510 what is chewies?
@@Sarah-gk8pv chewier are small soft rubber like material you bite down on when you put in your trays, so that they sit on your teeth better.
Great video - thanks for sharing ❤ 🇦🇺
Thousands of smiling
Love this
For me not easy i have first tray just 3 days
Omg
I had meal just two time
For her was easy because it seems like she did not have to put the rubber ban that itself is really hard to handle it in some cases it.
Super!
Hi thanks for sharing your story. Did you have any nights out/ alcohol drinks or did you abstain throughout?
I'm on tray 3 of 49 and I'm not liking it. I like to eat too much hahaha, I might switch to metal braces
I think you will be happy if you just stick it out… I actually like the discipline of not snacking. I seem to be able to eat plenty during mealtimes! ;0)
On tray 2 of 15 … did you end up switching?
@@hipsterboiwavy2723 I sure did! Im so much happier with traditional braces!! I won’t recommend Invisalign to anyone
Hi. I have been suggested 66 trays, which would take around 2.5-3years. Just wanted to know your experience in details with respect to the time and working of the Invisalign.
@@farzeenpardiwalla8957 I couldn’t do Invisalign, I switched to regular braces and I’m so much happier!! Should have gone with it from the start! I would be on aligner 35 of 49 now
Does everyone get that metal wire thing in the back? First time I’m hearing of this . Must make it so hard to even floss
Yes it is normal procedure
My son had one put in after braces. After two years we had it removed and instead had retainers (2 sets) made for lower and upper teeth. It’s easier to floss without the bonded retainer wire on his lower teeth. Bentist on youtube channel does not recommend because they can fail and you not notice snd then teeth shift.
Did you have much pain the first few days in the beginning
The first two days can be fairly uncomfortable. After that your teeth really calm down. Be sure to use your Chewies to seat your trays correctly and to make your teeth move into their new positions. Use them every time you reinsert your trays. This will speed the process along. You can drink ice water too- that seems to ease the discomfort.
I had. I was struggling taking them off and putting them back
pretty blue eyes...
Did you get gum recession on the bottom incisors?
I got one tray having issues putting bottom part in it snaps into but back loose
I had that issue with a few trays. It shouldn’t really affect anythjng
Hi! How are you? I'm wondering, do you still have all your wisdom teeth?
Hi it is advisable to extract all wisdom tooth before starting invisalign as it helps to minimise any potential problems later on during the journey
@myparadise24 that is weird. My all 8th are there. Noone here in the UK agreed to extract them. If they are inside, then yes, they may cause an issue.
@@annasalyga5285 hi! Have you worn braces?
@@annasalyga5285 you still have all 32 teeth?
Nice teeth. You’re cute too!
No offense, but looking at the process of producing these trayes a human with access to a 3d printer and FreeCad can do this by himself and safe I dont know how many thousand $
Theoretically you could, but you’d also need the software to create a plan for safe teeth movement to get a good end result; otherwise there could be serious risks to your health, including the risk of losing teeth
What is the cost
Around 4,000
Is it Dollars,Pounds or Euero?
@@elsyjames7900dollars
$5k US
Depends on how much work they have to do. I had an edge to edge bite and a TON of spacing, most of my teeth weren't touching and my front gap was moving further apart. I had 2 sets of rubber bands to start. They had to do a frenectomy, laser the skin attaching my lip to my gums causing the front gap. My treatment is estimated to last 2 years. I still have bonding to do on a couple of front teeth that are smaller than asthetically pleasing. It all came out to 6500 usd.
