I’m deciding between KLM economy or delta comfort +… (not premium select) KLM is drawing my attention tho!

Safe travels. If you have t taken the flight yet; I would always recommend to travel with both Wired and Bluetooth headphones. It depends on the type of aircraft and how recently updated the IFE is

How many hours was this klm flight Amsterdam to New York?
Approx 8 hours
When you said crazy amount of space in i believe economy section. How tall you are? Reason I’m asking you I’m looking to fly from USA to Europe and I’m 6f 3in tall which is around 191cm. Is economy ok or should I look to upgrade to premium economy
We both are 5' 8" and the 31" inch pitch is great for us. It feels evenpre because of the recline on the seat. You may want to look at upgrading or check this site www.seatguru.com/airlines/KLM/KLM_Boeing_787-10.php#

Would you say the economy seats were comfortable for the 8 hour flight? We are planning a trip to Amsterdam and are hesitant to pay for the economy comfort or just go for the regular economy!
I see you had carry ons. Do you know if they are strict on size? Ours are from target and are off by .25 and 1 inch on length and width!
We found the KLM economy seat the best we have used in any airline both domestic and international. Please do note that we were in a new Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner which had these newer style seats. You can check the aircraft info. on KLM site or on Google Flight before booking. We always check which aircraft we book on besides flight time. The recline on the seat was the most we have ever experienced and although at first the seats looked too stiff/modern, we wished we had couple more hours to enjoy them. So from our experience, we loved it.
As for carryons, we did measure ours to make sure but no one checked or measured carryon bags at anytime. We have noticed that major airlines like Delta, United or KLM don’t really make you check bag sizes but smaller budget airlines are more strict on these rules. Hope this helps.

Please note economy comfort on KLM is the same seat, just more legroom and a bit more recline. They are however adding 'premium comfort' this year, which is a proper premium economy seat; wider, lower legrest and more features. Have a good trip!

Flew this bird 11 hrs to los Angeles. Shoulders touching those of the neighbor. We paid 350€ extra for more legroom but 9 seats on a row is WAY to narrow and very uncomfortable. I hated the idea to fly back that way. I will never fly KLM again
Thanks for sharing your experience. All 787-10 are configured this way. Maybe look for a A330-900, A350 or Boeing 777 instead.
787 is designed for a 2-4-2 configure 😅
Tbf almost every airline has a 3-3-3 in Their 787
@@RubenvTh7909 I heard more people complain about the space. Good to know alle 787's have that, I'l avoid airlines flying them. I flew 777 or A330 more often, it was way better.

At 1:32 you say there is no window at the row 41. But there is 42 written. Which row do you recommend for the best view?
Thank you berry much for your feedback. If we remember correctly, we were sitting in row 42 with windows but row 41 didn’t had any and the lady in that row was upset. Not sure which aircraft you will be on so once you know your flight and aircraft, we recommend using seatguru.com for detail review of your seat. We have found it to be helpful

No, there was no checks with KLM in our experience
What are the difference between Delta and KLM?
For us, since we mostly fly Delta, KLM has a very European feel between their service, staff, and food. On this particular trip. We took Delta from NYC to AMS and KLM on return loved aspects of both. But a lot had to do with three elements 1. type of aircraft/updated interior 2. Staff and 3. Food. In short we enjoyed both and loved certain aspects from either Delta or KLM more

how did you get to select your seats on economy light?
On our Delta flight to Amsterdam, we were able to select the seats 24-48 hours in advance of the flight when we checked in. Same with KLM. We do not have status with Delta/KLM any longer but we take advantage of checking in as soon as they open check-in and normally able to pick our seats with most airlines. For our flight to Dubai on Emirates, we were able to pick seats during booking.
Took KLM. It is a great airline. Did they weight your carry on. Seems like no one was wearing a mask on this flight. What did you do in amsterdam. Are you children homeschooled
No, KLM didn’t weigh the carryons. And yes no one was wearing masks anymore. We spend a night walking around downtown but everything was closed. You can check out the video. And no, both Khizar and Eesa goes to school. We travel during weekend or holidays

We have 4 week vacation but use holidays and weekends for most of our travel. And The kids are in 4-5th grade.
