I'm knitting more like stripes, and I'm therefore not using the stranded method. However, when I do my color change, I always get a hole in my work. How do you prevent this hole from occurring between the old and new color?
edit 2: i figured out a solution and wrote it down below :) i’m having this same problem 🥲 edit: ok i think i might’ve figured it out??? so what i did is place the new color (for the first time) around the needle from UNDER the old color, then knit. then knit the next stitch iirc?? it’s kind of like weaving in the ends as you go technique, but i only do it with the old color for the first two stitches. i’ll let you know if this worked 👍🏻
