Ngl, you have massively improved your videos, your narrative, overall quality, just more professional. Really good; not only that; your constant flow of words is a source of information, not just hot air.
Respect for your work, man.
I really appreciate that comment, it means a lot and I have to thank my team for the help in making things better. Cheers Blake, Brian, and Greta.
Sometimes not affording these cars is a blessing in disguise
What do you think about the 2024 subaru forester?
I own an older Audi . I feel the pain. Of course ridiculous parts markups and even more ridiculous shop rates don’t help. And now these greedy companies won’t release their codes so you can go to an independent shop. I love the car, but it’s poorly engineered in many places and overly complicated needlessly.!
I'm totally amazed there are so many problems with so many cars. It makes me wonder if ANY car manufacturer produces ANY trouble-free car. A couple of years ago I was watching a video of a truck buyer who recently bought a new GMC Denali. The video was titled..."They've had it more than me!" That is very sad and pathetic. What in the hell is going on? Where is quality? Does anyone have answers?
It's called profiteering
A Master Tech at a major MB dealership said : " Too much engineering, too much money, too many failures..." !!!!
The used one is worse!!!!
It will break your bank!!!
Thanks for a great video 👍❤️
Thank you very much. That’s totally right, but this afflicts most luxury brands also from Germany
“Dumpster fire on wheels” 😂😂😂
Haha yes for sure
Tire dumpster fire !!
As a former Land Rover owner I can confirm. $2500 for brakes 🫠
I would definitely cut the floor out and go the flintstone route $2500 wtf!!! My wallet refuses to open for that. Thanks for sharing though. I thought that he was exaggerating 😢
Too much $h1t on these so called luxury cars, not interested in computers on wheels.
They are but honestly even many non luxury vehicles have a lot of tech too these days and similar issues can happen there too. Honda and Acura or Toyota and Lexus, VW and Audi, and the list goes on
Nissan: Hey we did so bad on variable speed transmission (CVT) Let’s try it on the engine, variable speed compression, what can possibly go wrong?
It's Reputation has taken a beating because of their CVT Transmissions if anything they should ask Toyota for one of theirs 😊
Haha cheers
I just bought a 2021 BMW 540i still on the manufacturer warranty and I purchased an extended warranty as well. No way am I driving this out of warranty after my last BMW literally died.
Great engine choice and thebZF8 auto trans is great too but good choice on the warranty it at least buys some confidence till you decide it’s a keeper or not
................ SAD you are required to Buy at Extra big expense Jus' to sleep at night.....Typical Euro Requirement
Good for you, you’re going to need it if you drive 10-15k miles a year. $$$$ for oil changes alone but you look good in it. Good luck 😊
what a depressing but truthful review about this luxury vehicles low quality.
Thank you and hope it helps those looking for guidance. Many used cars are great value and a better buy than new as it’s more bang for buck, however there are a few slugs here and there
luxury makes with the exception of lexus focuses on short term customer experience because the majority of brand new BMW and Mercs coming off dealers are leased. So they are incentivised to 'wow' the customer with fancy features and put zero effort on long term reliability because those lease customer will dump their 3 year old cars and renew their lease with a new fancier car.
disgusting consumerism and wastefulness culture. whatever happened to buying a car and keeping it until the wheels fall off?
The Alfa-Romero is the Dodge Hornet in an Italian suit.
Haha nice
Gotta say that MB AMG 63S....a very EMOTIONAL buy! Sadly many will Rent / Lease and DUMP in 2 Years after they loose 4oK in depreciation!
That’s true it’s a big hit. Very few cars do well on depreciation other than a mid engined Ferrari, but who has money for that. Either way, life’s too short to drive boring cars and I get why people do it. The real question is are you in for the long haul
@@ECPP a lot of econoboxes and dedicated sports cars that arent simply performance trims of existing models like M, N, AMG etc or hardcore dedicated 4x4 offroaders like a landcruiser depreciate slowly but still cant get around it. The less tech in the car the less depreciation hits is a general rule.
Bavarian Money Waster … 😂😂😂 .. I have to remember that
Haha thanks
@@ECPP Hits hard. Got a 2010 W204 with very low mileage and I'm still getting hit with everything under the sun. No avoiding the Benz tax.
I used to say Big Money Waster
Sad we wanted the GX550 drove a couple but I told my wife wait. 7 time Lexus owner and disappointed in the new Toyota engines.
The repair costs on the GX550 is astronomical, definitely avoid that model!
Yes sadly it’s too much risk at this point. Cool vehicles but…..
Like in any MFG i.e. ( note I lean twd JAPAN Sony etc. Always RESEARCH Models.....specifically Made in Japan . Keep in mind * Naturally Aspirated & maybe seek extra power Via Elec...as in Hybrid INSTEAD of "Turbo" and have options of using REGULAR gas. LEXUS does indeed make such models IMO the best of the best!
@@donaldbanner2185 good point. The TX 550h+ LUXURY hybrid has a 3.5l V6 hybrid powertrain 404 hp. More than the GX550 V6 twin turbo 349 hp.
It's definitely sad to see. Definitely hold onto your V8/N.A. V6 powered vehicles
Im a lexus owner also was thinking of getting the new GX550 but glad i didnt and kept my 2020 GX460
Yes keep the older one it’s a work horse and those older V8s will never be available again
I’ve never own Alexis, but I’ve owned 4 Mercedes-Benz and never had an issue. However, I am interested in off-Roading capabilities of the GX550 and have been considering trading in my GLB35 for the GX. Now, I’m not so sure!
Maintenance on your Audi is imperative! Don’t beat up on it too often and pay attention to the little things that will keep it running for you.
That’s true and same goes for BMw and Benz
Lexus/toyota it's just too much weight for the little engines. It just dosent mank any sense that a turbo 4 could replace a v8.
Yes that’s a lot of cars these days replacing larger engine with smaller turbo drivetrains that clearly are not designed to last
Just so they can boast better MPG numbers than a V-8 and meet future Government mileage standards.
Tesla? Nah. I let Elon Musk run his b.s. to others, not to me.
Exactly same here
Exactly same here too
Yes definitely. I love my gasoline. And my Toyota truck.
In other words, don't get new luxury vehicles. That's why I love the older luxury cars. (Mostly Lexus).
Trashla
Sunroofs, sure they are fun the handful times you actually use it but overall too many problems that aren't worth the cost. Unfortunately, every manufacturer wants to put them in higher trims. For those of us in the southern portion of the USA the heat is an extra drawback.
Audi Q5 is a dud, told friend to not buy an Audi, she got the extended warranty, camshaft soon broke, $5,000 claim paid. Q5 no bueno 💩
Yes they are total trash
What year?
Hey friend, I just bought a 2017 s5 79k mileages. It's run great for now. Will see what's going to happen down the road. 😄
@@khmbodia1972Former Q5 owner, keep an eye on engine mounts, control arms, and gasket seal just my advice.
anything from VW will send you broke trying to keep it roadworthy.
I love the luxury cars that people dump. I get a good deal and fix myself. Thank you so much for taking the depreciation hit!! If you don’t do your own repairs then stay away for sure!!
It’s perfect for people who can wrench a little
I still wouldn’t own those within warranty, not to mention Toyota tundras lately with hundreds of them being stalled while Toyota just looks like they’re trying to run the warranty to 0 days left to avoid a replacement or an engine rebuild
Thats a sad state of affairs
❤ your videos brother!
God bless you and the work you do to educate people.
I appreciate that
Outstanding content!! how should we approach warranties with these cars when pursuing life after warranty coverage?
Great question, and I may have to do a follow up video on this topic, but I general a lot of it depends on the brand and the type of issues one may have to deal with. Toyota = cheap so Monet warranty in general whereas Audi may need warranty as parts are pricey and reliability are not amazing
Anything with a turbo gottta go tbh
well....
Too many problems. Make me just wanna walk instead 😂
do not buy a small plane either..the costs are even higher
Yes that’s true
He’s so right when he said third mortgage. Because you usually need a second mortgage to buy these so-called “luxury” cars.
Nice….thanks
Buying a used luxury car is a money pit once things start to breakdown its all downhill
Absolutely brutal with the wrong car
I had a Tesla 3, and my screen did that too… Idk if you tried, but, you have to know how to reboot the monitor
I did not know how to. Are you able to share the technique?
Too much electronic complexity. I work in the I.T industry as computers breaks all the time. Back then cars were more simpler and easy to work on with less electronics. Now cars these days are computers on wheels. Not a lot Automotive techs nows how to work on EVs. You almost have be an I.T pro to work on them now from software updates, to reprogramming..
@@ECPP I didn’t know you replied, but yes… you have hold/push both scroll buttons in on both sides of the steering wheel (about 30 seconds) until you see the Tesla symbol pop up on the screen.
Then let the buttons go, and the system will go through its phases and reboot
Works for frozen or black screen…
@15:02 did he just say Wide Vulva?
Possibly. And if you meet one in a bar buy her a drink.
The luxury of being able to actually afford what are basically 'reverse ATM's on wheels". After warranty, trade -in and the next sucker for the seat of misery gets their turn; this time with a useless extended warranty with so many caveats the only thing covered is the tarp to stop the leaks.
I like to keep it simple and reliable at least for the daily driver.
My 2020 GLC300 Mercedes has been virtually problem free and it’s a joy to drive. It does wear out tires quickly.
Mark,
430i F36n Gran Coupe with B48, mfg: 2018,
Extended warranty ends december of 2024. 109k kilometers/68K miles.
I do a lot of highway kilometers, never go past 3k rpm before the car is on temperature (+ 5 extra minutes
Oil/oil filter change every 10k km,
Recently had my oil filter housing and oil cooler replaced due to massive oil cooler leak (under warranty).
Have noticed slightly ticking wastegate when driving out of underground parking garages and streets where echoes can be heard quite well.
(Apparantly that’s normal, idk)
Recommendations? Keep or dump past warranty? I’m really happy with the car and always have been very happy with the performanc and looks for a daily driver & it’s completely stock.
If keep, any additional recommendations what to do/look for/take into account?
Nice video btw! As always
Hi and thanks so much for the info and you do have one of the most reliable engines in BmWs group. The B58 and B48 are great engines but does not to be mistaken for flawless . There will be issues and the biggest ones are usually going to relate to cooling system leaks like Tstat, cooling lines, H2O pump, and the cooler /oil filter housing can leak either or both oil. And or coolant and that’s a pretty tyilpical failure but not a bad one to DIY if it happens down the road. Oil leaks from turbo cooling lines, valve cover gasket, pan gasket can weep too and do. You mention a potential wastegate rattle I would run as long as possible until it does not actuate are becomes a driveability issue. Generally all cars will need love here and there and Toyota has proven this lately with some bad engines and silly recalls.
I would personally have no issue in running that car a long time. I always see more value in used cars unless they are absolute trash, which this is not because I balance this with depreciation on a new car, especially one which gets huge miles packed on. In today’s new car price nonsense, I look for anyway to keep existing vehicles running longer to get the best “bang for buck” or buy a lower mileage slightly used and still save some miles. Hope this helps.
@@ECPPthat does help a lot, thank you so much!
Before I had this one, had a 2014 325d from work for some time & really, I’ve always been pretty anti-bmw. …until I drove one. Really had to have one for myself after that.
This is the first one I bought myself, bought from BMW with low mileage, right after the new 4-series (G23/24/26) release which helped to bring the price down even more & additionally also a couple years of warranty coverage until 12/2024.
I agree with you that buying new is not always what you’re looking for, especially when looking at the depreciation and being my first BMW, I thought going ‘certified pre-owned’ was the way to go.
Your videos really helped me in making a decision, without a doubt some of the best content out there! (The best if u ask me)
All the best Mark!
Greetings, Mark. I would like your thoughts on the 2020 SLC Mercedes. I found 2020 an SLC 300 with under 10,000 miles on it in California.
Very nice! The car is nice but overall I would say modern Benzs have nice styling and modern tech, they are a little fragile. The engine has had a few issues along the way by other owners when outfitted in vehicles like the CLC300 or C300 even like the one in our car. Is it a terrifying setup? No, but the car is a little fragile and a must to keep a strong battery in it. Some discussion on forums about hiked pistons but to bad fueling etc. this is rare and we still like our 2018 C300 so overall there can be issues but you could do worse for sure.
I have a 9yr old Lexus with the old 3.5v6. It still feels like the day I bought it no rattles and as smooth as silk.
Oh, I'm Done!!🤣🤣 "Audi Q5 looks like a military boot."
Toyota/Lexus needs to work the bugs out of the V35A-FTS engine first and foremost... HODL!
Exactly
Yeah. The bearing issue is just a bug😂 Toyota will fix it with a software update 😂
@@fakenews3676 LOL, same for leaky sunroofs in other brands.

@@ECPPI’m thinking of getting a 2021 Genesis GV80, do you think it’s reliable?
Another informative video.
First thing that came to mind was -
Should I buy extended Warrantee on my Brand New GR Corolla Circuit?
I will be driving it for its intended purpose as well as gravel & dirt road rally (esk) driving. (I did that with my Fiesta ST for 10 years but the GR's AWD will be more fun at 9/10ths
I will own the GR for 10 years or more.
I am currently breaking it in PROPERLY and METHODICALLY.
So what do you figure ? Warranty of No?
That’s a great question and generally with most Toyotas I would say save your money and don’t bother with cars like Camrys and the V6 or older 2.5 but you have a GR and it’s a high strung engine that’s more strained and you are using it in a harder way. I would ask how much, but seriously consider it in your case and another example of where a person should buy if they want to keep it a long time would be a vehicle like the new Tundra with that new turbo engine and the Tacoma with the new turbo4z. Unproven vehicles yet.
@@ECPP Thanks for the quick reply. I agree with generic daily driver's Warrantee may not be needing.
But I asked because the GR a bit different. Having said that the GRs little cousin (GR Yaris) has the same engine & similar powertrain has been around for 4 years & was developed for Toyota's Rally Program. So the whole system is likely built fairly strong...
Thoughts on a 2020+ Audi Q8?
great info..i still drive a 26 yo GM auto with 3.8 liter V6. I am reluctant to risk it on a unreliable upgrade..
Keep as long as you g as it goes
Hey Mark, what do you think of the new Mazda cx70/90? They look gorgeous but they have a inline 6 turbo + mild hybrid, not sure if that's a combination for more future repair bills😂
Hi Kevin, as it’s a relatively new combo it’s sort of hard to say right now, but the recent trends for Mazda has been great and more reliable than Hondas and make possibly even Toyota. One of the best. With that said, a lot of that came as a result of the turbo and NA 2.5 L engines but as this new vehicle has the I6 clearly going after BmW it’s sort of tough. With all of that said, Hubrids do tend to add up a little when keeping for a long time and turbo engines often have a few challenges. It’s still a safer bet than most new cars out there though. Would I? Yes quite possibly.
@@ECPP Mark, what a mess up world that's we are living in right now, a Mazda is more reliable than a toyota 🤯
Stay away from the first year. Mazda is very reliable overall, but with any brand, you always want to stay clear of the first production year. Just look at Toyota and their new v6 twin turbo
@@PhilNo-kh8bb Thanks bro, btw cx70 is technically the same car as cx90 But would be the second year of Mazda producing this platform/powertrain. Would it be safer to go 2025 cx70 than a 2024 cx90?
@@ECPP thanks Mark! Yeah definitely Would be a risk to take this car but honestly it's such a steal compared to the Lexus cars. my stolen es350 fsport was already 62k cad and same money i can get a fully loaded cx90 (which i kind of need a big suv for my family now)
A real eye opener. I had a VW Tiguan 2017, its was under warranty. The engine had to replace … it’s a long story.
Oh wow, yes that’s not good having to swap major parts like that
I would have expected it. Ive had to replace VW engine before on a Passat. Then my turbo went out 😂. I will never buy another VW again.
@@WREKLOCI was renting cars back in 2001 and we stayed supplying "loaners" to Volkswagen customers.
I simply could not understand then, nor do I now understand, why people continue to buy them.
The Internet was around then. Message boards. The word was out.
Even today, you can read on Reddit the guys talking about all the long list of repairs and shop visits they've had with 40k miles.
I guess some people are gluttons for punishment.
Why do you need dual turbo on a V8, they fast enough
True
But that "TURBO" emblem adds adds at least 2 inches to your small ... Sorry, maybe too nasty, but yeah, what is the point of making things more unreliable.
Hello Mark, in my area in the midwest lots of X3 and x1, coming out of a lexus 300 is it worth it?????
BMW is much more enjoyable to drive but BMW, even with the latest b48 and b58 engines and the improvements to reliability that they bring, likely will experience higher maintenance costs
I need a full sized SUV but it seems like all these new cars are proving unreliable 😫😫😫 I thought I narrowed down to the LX600 or the Sequoia but I am so discouraged. I just want a reliable family vehicle that will last!!!
I totally agree!
Mazda.
Mazda cx-9 with a third row.
I recommend buying a used Toyota Land Cruiser.
Mazda
Conversely, Buy a LEXUS for a "Daily Driver" and like I do Do-Not buy a (ripp off ) extended Warr. Always consider Why the Euros and Korean genisis Push Push...extended Warr.... Note: it is the SERVICE Depts where the aforementioned vehicles make All their $.
Cheers
I'm suprise the Lexus lx 600 is on that list. On another video you said that will last 300000 miles or more. If is problematic then what's your recommendation about some lexus that will outlast some cars or to keep forever. ?And what's your thoughts about Toyota land cruiser lx300 and the new Infinity Qx80? And again amazing video. Hope you help me with some advice
This is a recent update to the product which has exposed a huge issue with the 3.4
Do a segment on cars that no longer have parts available. I can't find the shift selector for my 2005 Mazda6 it's not available.
Had to buy one used from a salvage yard.
Sounds like a great topic
Great overview video
Thank you
Very informing video! Thought about buying a 2020 range rover evoque…. Definitely not anymore 😂 considering a 2019 Camaro 1LT now
For what these arms cost they should be built better and have longer warranties.
I agree, there is no excuse for poor quality at these prices

Does this mean that 3.5 in lc500h will also have expensive problems out of warranty???
Regarding the Audi Q5 2.0T S Tronic.
Tensioners for the Timing Belt get shot all the time and the VAG group knows this, which could lead to engine failure, Catastrophic!
Mechatronics unit for the Double Clutch gearbox is another common fualt and failure is Catastrophic!
Clutch Judder is a symptom of ordinary wear and tear that occurs on the dual clutch system and needs a replacement of both clutches simultaneously, Catastrophic!
The Variable Vane Turbo is oil cooled whilst operating at extreme gas chamber temperatures, this burns the engine oil and leads to excessive consumption. Neglect the top up and the Turbo bearings get shot. Catastrophic!
Thanks for this report. I was actually thinking about trading in my 2007 Lexus GX 470 which I have owned since it was new. I’ve only got 91,000 miles on it and it only has been serviced by Lexus and I love it but since it’s 2007, I said, maybe I should make the move to the new one but hearing thisLexus that I’ve never had a problem with only thing I’ve done is regular maintenance or I should say Lexus is regular maintenance. I think I’m gonna stay where I am for now and That wants something for a while. Thank you again.
Do you have the same concerns with the 2024 Infiniti QX60 (295hp 3.5-liter V6 direct injection engine), as the Infiniti QX50 in the video or potential issues with the 2024 Acura MDX (290 hp 3.5L V6)..?
I've got a Ford Focus with 293k miles with the original timing chain and audi can't keep their engine together past warranty
Haha indeed Audi is a fragile little unit. Not worth the hassle IMHo
my dad just got 2022 XC90 in the same spec without warranty, advised him to take toyota highlander but volvo is his dream car, hope it won't turn into nightmare
I own a Volvo 2017 xc90 r design , apart from the stater , I haven’t done any repairs. Car is almost at 300,000km. Very reliable car. There is a reason the trucks on the roads are mostly Volvos
That’s not good
I took my moms 22 glc in for service B and spoke to a tech and he didn’t have to much good things to say . He said gla and glc are great but all the others 👎
Really? I was looking at a GLB
That’s pretty consistent with my experience as well.
@@quokkapirquish6825 yes he didn’t mention glb just the other 2 .
@@mikelowry5012 He inferred that the GLB was not great
We had a GLA and after, a GLB. Never again. The GLB is actually the GLA with a different body. The GLA was fun to drive, but teeth chattering ride quality on Michigan Roads. The GLB had a better ride but was not as fun to drive. That said, both of these entry level suvs were not up to the standards of what a Mercedes should be. Lots of build quality issues on both and not really cheap either. Mercedes charges for everything. A $25,000 Corolla comes with a home link transmitter to open your garage. A $48,000 GLB? Nope. $500 option!
My favorite V8 BMW is the E9x M3. They rev very high and even after putting in a supercharger it would still be more reliable than a twin turbo V8 BMW.
That’s a great car but only thing is rod bearings and throttle actuators
Dude, you're hilarious! I like your reviews.
Hey, thanks! I appreciate that and thanks for coming to the channel
Toyota found metal shavings in the block and oil spread it to mains and it scores the bearing
Sounds like a gap in the quality
@@ECPP yeah made in Mexico not the best when it comes to quality control. And that new six is weak compared to the v8 are the complaints coming from new buyers.
Should have included 1st generation Genesis products ( 2018 - )… Even just regular “consumable” parts (brake rotors, starters & etc.) are nearly impossible to find, even from the dealer for my G80. I’d be much more confident owing an Alfa outside of warranty - as most of their electrical glitches come from weak batteries. Alfa’s also benefit from fairly strong aftermarket support & some parts sharing w/ other products.
Thanks for sharing, that’s interesting but I agree, Alfas are usually mostly electrical due to cars sitting a long time and not getting charged adequately
Yeah, Alfissimo & Madness Motorworks stock tons of parts for Giulia & Stelvio here in the US as they have some European connections. Can be a bit pricey but obtainable.
The Genesis dealers here are problematic at best for after warranty parts/service. I ended paying out $700 for just a starter. There were some listed at various Hyundai dealerships parts sites well below that. However, they were listed as Out of Stock, no ETA…
According to the Alfa forums, many common powertrain spares & fuses and the like can be cross referenced with Mopar/Jeep. And of course they use the ZF 8sp which is indestructible..
I was once considering trading in my GTI for a Jetta GLI because I'm a fan of the older physical knobs based interior. Until I realized there's no avoiding sunroofs on Jetta GLIs in Canada 😂...
That’s Ok on the sunroof but I agree on the standard buttons as the newer digital tech is a bit much on these cars
@@ECPP Agreed. I like to think I chose the lesser of two evils. At least I can minimize interaction with the screen with automatic AC, but VW and Audi sunroof leak horror stories are just too many
😡😡😡 I owe a Audi Q5 3 liter and ounce I got over 100,000 miles I should have gotten rid of it.👎✊️👎 The MMI entertainment system was buggy ass fucked, it was consuming a quart of oil, the gaskets where leaking on both sides, the bushings were wearing and cracked, the panoramic sun roof leaked etc. A complete German money 💰 pit. The only great thing about it was the performance. The reliability was just simply Awful 😖
This dude know his stuff . 👍🏼
Thank you very much for watching
It's high time vehicle manufacturers are firmly called out for their bs.
Unfortunately these issues also affect many new "budget" models.
It's getting ridiculous!!!!
Paying over the top for lemons straight out of the factory.
Any BMW equipped with a N63 V8 Or has Air Suspension please avoid at all costs try the 2 and 3 litre dubbed the B48 and the B58 These are excellent engines currently builted by BMW i currently own a 2020 3 Series 4 years owning it no issues ❤
Absolutely great choice on BMWs 4 and 6 cylinder engines
Just get a prado from Canada they still have the 3u-fe 5.7 and the 8 speed
Awesome SUVs
Volvo has gearbox issues? Means Toyota ( Aisin) messed up again?
Well…..
The panel gaps and trim alignment on the MB EQS… looked worse than Tesla.
Yeah that’s probably true
No money down lease just about applies to all vehicles today because of the hughe complexity and the unknown resale value. If you lease something like a Toyota Rav 4 prime and it is actually worth more than the residual, you just sell it before the lease expires and pay off the lease at the lower residual value.
I'm not a fan of car/SUV roofs that swoop down at the back.
Cuts rear head room down for taller persons. Waste of space.
I still miss the CRV models that had a squared off rear hatch, instead of tear drop and can't fit as big items through height wise
Yes there is a market for utility type SUvs even the RAV4 isn’t bad and the Subarus have models like that
If I was clueless and walked into a Lexus dealer shopping for a GX550 I'd be expecting a 5.5L V8. It started as a lie so they got what they deserved.
Yes that’s crap to do that. LEXUS is doing a bunch of this . The new RX 350 is no longer the 3.5L. 6 but rather the turbo 2.4L 4 cyl
@@ECPPlexus is just following the mercedes blueprint 😂

That’s why most of these are leased to coincide with the warranty period!$$$ then run!!!
I believe this is why people who can afford these vehicles, will typically lease them and move on to something else newer. Us peasants, should never buy one of these but nice to look at.
That’s true
So, what you're saying is that when you have the plaid, you're being played 😅😂😂
Haha probably. But damn it’s fast. Literally breathtakingly fast.
Volvo model been made for 10 years and still can't get it right!
Exactly
What about the genesis GV80???????????????
Nope to fancy Hyundai's, lease it for maximum fun, they have expensive problems long term.
Yeah, I’d lease it. I made the mistake of holding on to my G80 5.0 - started crumbling after warranty. They do not support their cars otherwise. Parts availability is nonexistent and most of their dealers are still tied up w/ Hyundai - not a good experience.
BMW = Big Money Wasted, Break My Wallet, Broke Man’s Wish.
Haha nice
It doesn’t matter what you buy anymore. Some have better build quality, some have nicer interior materials, some have great fit and finish.
But none of them are designed to be owned long term and repaired economically anymore.
5-8 years and they want you facing a repair bill you can’t afford, to go and trade it in on a monthly payment that you can.
You are totally right in that assessment. There are a few basic cars yet line a Corolla or Civic that can be fixed and may be worth it but very few.
I knew Range Rover was on the list....still watching
Thank you
Land Rovers are perennial champs on the cars-to-a\/oid lists. 😅
Indeed
I’ve had 3 rovers. No problems. I don’t keep them out of warranty though.
Why jeep grand Cherokee limited not on the list ?
It’s not luxury.
If you need a luxury car by a Lexus, Acura or Corvette for sports cars the rest are super money pits!
Well…..
Certain Acura years had oil consumption issues that killed the engines
Lots of people are importing these cats to Ghana because they are cheap AF , most of them end up in workshops.
Seen a wide vulva (Volvo) 🤔 ? Yes…I have 😂🤣👍🏾 !
Haha ouch. Sadly there’s quite a few around.
@@ECPP indeed 😹 !
I’d love to have a Velar but just wouldn’t trust it
Beautiful vehicles but all Land Rover Products are pricey to maintain, and while they are not a unreliable as many people chirp, there is still a reality that parts are pricey and sometimes hard to get and dealer networks are few and far between. I owned by Jaguar till now and it’s a 2018 and no warranty. Solid unit and same family
Third mortgage? I don't have a first one on my homes. Cars are paid for in cash. Everyone knows that cars are a deprecating item. I would not even consider a car an asset.
You would never afford that house in Canada without a mortgage due to the extreme costs. Count yourself. A little lucky on that front .
Three words...Manufacturer Extended Warranty. 😂
Yes indeed
I hate those Fake Bumper tailpipes.
Look at me, all fake here and I over paid.
Exactly
I saw on another channel where someone bought a used Audi S5, and just 20 days in, the vehicle developed a misfire. He took it to the dealer and found out he needed a new engine, with an estimated cost of $30,000. Now, he's stuck with car payments and has to come up with the funds for an engine, all while needing a vehicle to get around. What was once a nice car has turned into a POS. The moral of the story is, if you don't have disposable income and a second vehicle, you should think twice, maybe three times, before buying one of these European vehicles.
That’s totally true but also service history and knowing the owner is imprtant
what about Porsche ???👀 did not see any ?
$6000 to fix my sunroof😢
That hurts. What kind of car is that?
