Great stuff Azeroth. Shame you don't make more videos, you obviously know your stuff. Happy to see you're enjoying the Machina. I made a video too, ploughed through loads of locks, including some 1* and locks with security pins. It has its limits like all EPGs, but new tools push the limits. And, yes, the 'What way around do you use it" - my answer: Both. Because sometimes the lock doesn't respond one way up, but will the other way up. It's an option worth trying if you're not getting any joy.
I'm a locksmith and I use all my epg's like you are doing on this vid I recently got this epg and I find it as good as my Kronos well impressed with it
Thanks for confirming. I'm not the only one using it that way. lol im enjoying it alot my kronos was tempermental at times until it packed up lol. so far no issues with this one and probably opened over a hundred locks or more with out any problems. cheers
Never used a EPG so can't help. I was a hobby picker about 10 years ago now and always SPP'd as that is the true art. Royally pissed off Avocet with their ABS locks, picked MkI, MkII and MKIII. After saying they were unpickable, so they had the videos taken down. Also went to Tel Aviv and visited Raf if you have heard of him, a mine of information on Mul-T-Locks and other dimples. I wonder how EPG's would work on really high security locks. Hmmm Might even get back into the hobby now I have retired and have hundreds and hundreds of locks in my shed that I acquired over the years including levers that is. Well keep picking and enjoying it, I used to love it. Great sport with real satisfaction once you crack it with SPP and get the feel of how a lock works.
It is a good hobby and actually helps me take my mind off life lol, I pick car locks for my job, but that's easy when using a lishi lol and not really a challenge. I don't get as much time as I used to, but i try and get an hour or so a week in, i love spp especially on spools, serrated, T pins etc . I do know raff but never actually met him, just spoke over the phone and messages he's a wizard on mul t locks he even sent me a few mul t locks to play with. It's also funny when a lock manufacturer says their locks are un pickable. No lock is unpickable if you have the skill, it just means you need more skill for the higher rated locks lol. And Get your self back into the world of lock picking 👍
I know Raf very well, a great bloke and exceptionally helpful, especially when it comes to Mul-T-Locks as they come from his country. Tell me more about this Avocet issue. Did your videos get taken down by Avoicet because you picked them? Tell me more, I love a bit of UA-cam and lock companies getting the fear.
@@LockPickingLegend Well I was a member of a lockpicking forum and this sales rep I believe joined and started boasting about the new lock, spouting all the marketing spiel, unpickable, un bumpable etc. So a few forum members including myself said, Send us one and we'll test that. After a lot of emails and tooing and froing we got our locks, within 48 hrs it was bumped, picked and snapped. I offered my thoughts on improving the lock and what to do EG move the magnetic pin from pin one to the back of the lock to make it less susceptible to magnets on the tension bar and heard nothing back. Left it a while , then they come out with a MK II which I also picked and offered more advice, these videos were unlisted BTW, only available to forum members. Then I find out they have been taken down. Anyway months could be even more they bring out a MK III with trap pins which I purchased with my own money just to prove a point and guess what ua-cam.com/video/3oF3qLxmH0A/v-deo.html and that's about that. I think the geezer got "Let Go" in the end.
Would be curious to know if this pick gun is still working 10 months on from your video? I’m on my 2nd one after it was replaced and I’ve gone onto a wendt now
After having both I'm preferring the Machina over the Kronos, but both are great EPG's it will be down to personal choice, I found on the Kronos it showed scratches very easily and the rubber bands on the body start to crack after a year and just looked rough lol.
Unfortunately, not horizontal keyways tend to be dimple locks. Some people have opened a dimple lock with modified needles, but the tool isn't designed to work on those lock types
Hi, im assuming you mean the anti drill discs. Some locks have fitted? The epg can open those types of locks, however, depending on the quality of the lock and If it has security pins, it might not open the lock. EPG tools are not guaranteed to open all locks they are used as a quick attempt at opening locks. If it fails, then you will need to move on to traditional lock picks and do it by hand. If you have no lock picking experience, then you might struggle and have paid a lot of money for nothing. Hope that helps

@stephenkellett7382 still going strong. I've put a larger capacity panasonic 18650 in it as the keepower isn't the best out there, lol
Which one of the Kronos and the Machina do you prefer? I am scaning the market to find a good epg to buy. Have a great day /D from Sweden

Alguien sabe donde comprar ????
does it work on locks with horizontal key insert way?

does it matter the position of the lock? if its with the pins up or down ?
No it doesn't matter at all cheers
does it open a lock with a little round piece of metal in front ?
