Congratulations 🏁🌅The Aim is a nice new line up. Our previous TT had an East to West bed and a 11 months later we said see ya 👋 lol Now we’re in a Medium size couples TT Grand Design XLS 22 mle with a North to South bed.

Thanks for sharing. This is #1 on my shortlist right now. I hate that kitchen sink tho. I'm hoping GD does something with that on the next model year.

Thanks for the tour. Does it look like you can remove the sleeper sofa if you wanted? This is almost perfect, but I would prefer a small table in that spot instead of the sleeper sofa.

Logix 27” LED. Ports/connections. 1 usb, 1 HDMI, 1 coaxial (cable), RCAs and VMA jacks.
Toggle on wall behind TV to switch between antenna and cable

We are considering buying one of these tomorrow at our local dealer. Since the only thing we have done for 4 years is camp outdoors in 10 person tent at 39 degrees, this will be way better even if we were boon-docking with limited resources besides solar. Ours with have the extra AIM package as well. Thank you for both very informative videos.
Did you end up getting it? Definitely nice to have a trailer again, we missed not having one the last few years. So far we love it. We'll be posting a likes and dislikes video in the next couple weeks. :) jenn

My wife and I picked up our 16ML with the AIM option, and I do have a question for you. Does your microwave work when boondocking?
After watching you vid of the inside, we were taken aback by what GD service says is a change. No rollover sofa cupholders, but we are removing the table and getting L/W hassocks with reversible tops for food/drinks.
Just seasoned the griddle and took the rig back on a 3 days excursion from Syracuse NY to Portland Maine. No problems but the ones aforementioned and what a great layout!!!

Super cool! Sounds like it’s working out great. We also just returned from 3 nights but stayed local and with full hookups.
Our microwave does not work without shore power, same as A/C.

I love your decor - where did you find the bedding/rug etc.? I want this trailer, just waiting for interest rates to drop!
You guys can put a different sink in this camper. The plumbing is all there and you have room under it for a deeper sink.
Considering this unit..we had a GD imagine 2950 for a few years but was too big for my truck..A great feature on this unit is the size of the grey tank at 74 gallons.. most units of this size have 25 to 30 which is a dealbreaker.. thanks

@@fire273mx7 That’s disappointing… I should’ve known it was too good to be true… I picked up a brochure a few months ago from my local dealer and it had the capacity 74 gallons for the gray tank… Not sure if it was a misprint or if Grant design decided to reduce the capacity
May I also ask where you got the key hook holder by the front door?

It would be great if instead of regular bed it would be a Murphy bed and small countertop bar with 2 seats
Nice open feel layout for its size. It would have been nicer if they can swap the vanity and the commode. So you can keep the.bathroom door and window open to get a larger open feel without the view of the toilet especially if you have guests inside.
Wondering with the ceiling lights - can you individually turn one or two off? So do they have their own switch on the light itself?
ceiling lights are all on 1 switch and cannot be turned on/off individually. The ceiling lights in the bathroom are separate and have a separate switch
I like this floor plan. Been looking at the 17MKE too. But the tiny sink in this unit is awful. Theres room to do a larger sink.
Thanks for the walk thru. Couple questions for you...
1. Is the toilet ceramic or plastic? I thought it was plastic when I saw it in person, but someone else in another video said it was ceramic.
2. Love the mirror you added. Assuming it stays on wall when slide is brought in? How deep/thick of item can be places on that wall and still not interfere with slide?
3. Do you have to roll up your rug before bringing slide in?
4. Storage under bed... I wonder if the addition of the inverter in the AIM solar pkg is cutting into that storage area. I have video I took of a 16ML without the AIM pkg and both of the left side storage areas under the bed are equal depth, about 15 to 16 " deep.
5. Your Maxair fan... Did you add this or is it part of the AIM Pkg?

The toilet is plastic. I think we'll have a video out next week that we'll talk more about the toilet.
The mirror is great on that wall. It stays there all the time. It's just a basic wall mirror from target/walmart, etc. We are camping and misplaced the measuring tape, but my hand flat fits my four fingers easily 3+ inches.
I think you are right about shelf under the bed, so one of the shelves isn't as deep.
Max air fan was included, not an upgrade.
I'll try and add a picture of the space between slide and wall mentioned above. :)
Oh, regarding rug. When slide is in I move it all the way to the kitchen cabinet and fold it under by 4-6 inches is my guesstimate.
