I wish I would have found this channel sooner. I’m 1 month post op and didn’t receive the same instructions from my surgeon. Then again, I had it done in Turkey 😒

How was it! I’m getting mine done in 2 days and I’m so nervous and my anxiety is really bad
@@kaylamorshedi6679 You will be fine let me first say. 2 things to get. Arnica Bruising Gel and Silicone Scar Gel from Wal-Mart. Start eating or drinking pineapple juice to also help with swelling and bruising. You will need q tips and peroxide to clean your nose yes you can clean your nose and a mix of water and peroxide will dissolve the dried blood. There was no pain I had just some numbness that dissipated over the days. Day 3 I had the noticeable swelling and bruising in my face where I thought what have I done but by day 5 my nose was clear to breath better through. I had no complications and definitely no pain. Take your antibiotics with food. Motrin is a better choice for any minor aches or inflammation. Cold wash towel over your face to help with swelling. If you are not bleeding you can take that rolled gauze that is under your nostril off probably in one day but do not remove the splint or the taping those will be removed at your follow up appointment. Again after almost a month I am healing well but still have some swelling in my nasal tip but is please with my results.
I'm very nervous because I'm getting mine done can you tell me how was it as soon as you woke how did you feel and before the surgery

How long after rhinoplasty should I be using the antibiotic ointment? I've been using it for a week!
How do you take care of your nose if you have internel stiches only?
My doctor said it's okay to take a quick bath after two days of operation as Long as you do it gently to avoid infection

I have a small bump in one of my stitches in my nostril 😭 will it go away ?

@@jenniferdelatorre2893 hi did any of you both figured out what to do? I’m only 2 days post op I see him in three days but one of the stitches on the outer corner of my nose is kind of lining against it and I’m creating a small (almost a bump) line across it..
@@brilz yes don’t worry it will go away eventually mine did 😊👍🏼 but ask your doctor when you see him to make sure 💕
