Saabster, thanks for coming back. Yes it is the turbo boost gauge. Where is this sensor situated and can it be cleaned or must it be replaced? Will it help if I reset the ecu/computer?
@@hendrikdutoit9859 if your turbo is still working it's probably the sensor , I don't know where that sensor is located I never had any problems with that .
Hi Saabster. Is it possible to reprogram a transponder/computer from another Saab to work on my car? I lost my transponder and can only use the spare key to open/lock the car. At this moment I have no alarm/immobiliser/central locking.
Am not sure depending on the year The remotes are different , but if it's the same style remote you would need to go to the dealer that services Saabs . They have a software that programs remotes , or even some auto part stores like arch auto parts in NY . I don't know where you're from . Look into it .
You would have to go to one of these dealerships that does key programming for Saabs , but more than likely their gonna want you to buy theirs I don't know what state you live in but theirs an auto parts place in NY called arch auto part they cut and program keys
It sounds like your starter if you turn the key and you get a clack clack sound , make sure your battery terminals are well connected if it doesn't start you may need a new starter .
I put my sad 9-5 into reverse mode and it doesn't want to stick into any position it just swims around back and forth do you have any idea what I could do? I would really appreciate it
What kind of symptoms were you having to make you believe it was having computer issues, my Saab would start jerking or slow down every now and then, then the engine light, trans light, brake light, all would come on.
Thanks a lot, man ! One of my headlights wasn't working and the indicator on the dashboard didn't light up anymore. Resetting solved the problem.
Thank you.... From the Netherlands....
You're very welcome 🙏

I put the key in ignition light and everything goes on but won’t crank? Could it be the key?

Why would someone need to do this?
