    I wasn't going to watch this because I thought it would be cultural appropriation but immediately you said the three main religions and a melting pot of cultures. Wish politicians and fanatics from all side could see that. Now to see which actual foods are featured. You need to see the classic kunafa dough being made. And zater, wild thyme, on bread is classic Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese, which reminds me I need to look up Jordanian cuisine. Finally the Yemeni bakery, falafel in Yemen use black eyed beans rather than chick peas or a mix. The lahooh uses sorghum and is similar but less sour than Ethiopian anjira

      Foot note the anjira should be eaten with Ethiopian curries and dips not dry. Kubana is the dough that we'd normally make a layered bread but if you can't be bothered we just let it rise as a single cake not a nest of buns. It's eaten warm with honey
