Fishing Live Bait and Cut Bait for Oyster Bar Redfish
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лис 2019
- In this video, I started the morning with the plan to go after a new PB inshore slam here in Tampa Bay, but I quickly changed my strategy after discovering a good amount of redfish hanging around an oyster bar. I started fishing both cut bait (pinfish) and live bait (greenbacks/threadfins) and had nonstop redfish fishing action for a solid hour.

I just wanted to say thanks! Your Video gave me the idea to use cut bait on the pier and caught a sweet 32 inch Redfish!
Thank you for sharing that with me, that's awesome!
Looks like you too are enjoying the numerous rod holders Sea Hunt provided us with.
Jamming on The Blue Hues Great video Brent!
Good video keep um comin 👍 ✌
Hey it’s Ethan, I ran into you at crunch the other day. We should definitely go fishing locally sometime
Great vid
looks like I should of been on the water yesterday instead of working on my boat lol your making it happen broski keep the vids coming!
👍 video 👍
What part of tampa bay are you from/fishing in?
Where do you get all your live bait?
There have been big schools of bait around the spoil islands where I do most of my fishing so I throw the cast net to start the day
@@SeeYaDude boat looks clean are you casting into sand holes
Nice video Brent! Idk where that Barbie rod went tho 🤷🏻♂️😂
If I only knew I wasn't gonna get my slam that day. That rod would have been perfect for those reds 😂
Brent Schirmer zzzzzzzzzz 🐟🏃🏻♂️
Nice boat dude. How much did you invest in that ride? I like the idea of soaking some cut bait.
Hey JC, It's a 2019 Sea Hunt BX 22 BR, I would say 50K +, they make an awesome boat
I like watching your channel. Nice fish my man. There’s definitely a difference between thread fins and green backs. Also you may wanna look into getting a de hooker for the trout. 90% of the time you touch them with dry hands they do actually die. Anyway hope this helps. See ya out there. Tight lines.
Here in st Pete I have the worst luck with pinfish
What kind of hook are you using?
I was using 1/0 circle hooks
@@SeeYaDude would you use circle hooks for popping corks using live bait?
I would personally. I pretty much only use circle hooks
I was fishing in Hernando beach today the snook were not biting I couldn’t complete my slam as well
