  • In this video, I started the morning with the plan to go after a new PB inshore slam here in Tampa Bay, but I quickly changed my strategy after discovering a good amount of redfish hanging around an oyster bar. I started fishing both cut bait (pinfish) and live bait (greenbacks/threadfins) and had nonstop redfish fishing action for a solid hour.

I just wanted to say thanks! Your Video gave me the idea to use cut bait on the pier and caught a sweet 32 inch Redfish!

There have been big schools of bait around the spoil islands where I do most of my fishing so I throw the cast net to start the day

If I only knew I wasn't gonna get my slam that day. That rod would have been perfect for those reds 😂

Nice boat dude. How much did you invest in that ride? I like the idea of soaking some cut bait.

I like watching your channel. Nice fish my man. There’s definitely a difference between thread fins and green backs. Also you may wanna look into getting a de hooker for the trout. 90% of the time you touch them with dry hands they do actually die. Anyway hope this helps. See ya out there. Tight lines.
