Hi oshin! You can’t get a seat at a restaurant because it’s a bug BUT with carls dine out reloaded if you click on the host stand and look in the settings, you can enable “guests seat themselves” which makes it so your sims can sit on a table without a host needed. Hope this helps 😊
It's kinda interesting how this mod already has a temporary fix. Still annoying. I'm curious what the hell happened with restaurant dates and it wasn't even a Dine Out but fix. I find a lot of bugs fascinating. Like how did that coding break? But I know it's annoying to the people that deal with the bug. This one seems like a wide spread bug. I don't know if I have it. I'm going to have to test. Though I'm thinking I will have this bug.
Rotational gameplay is the best. I have various households I play with; they're all from my legacy, from the same family. When I get bored with one household, I go to another one 😌.

Maybe Dennis want to have another baby, could actually be that he has a long lost child that he wants to reconnect with before he dies and his daughter doesnt know about them. Or, someone claims they are his child (could adopt them, age them up off screen so it's fufilled)

With all honesty off topic and gameplay doesn’t make much of a difference to me, considering I’m mostly here for your soothing voice. I love listening to you while I try to take care of myself, organizing, cooking, etc. there’s something soft, gentle, mothering but still fun and full of personality. Wish you all the best!
Hello oshin! I had this bug too and i've been checking on updates on the dine out bug fix thread, and recently EA staff announced that it is fixed with the recent update. I tested yesterday dining out with regular date, and it worked! Unfortunately there are some interactions that is not detected for the mission completion, but i just use UI cheats for those, and I also haven't tested with lovestruck custom date. I will update again on this comment once i have the time to test it!

I had looked it up previously and for me it had something to do with the fame switch in settings. I had to uncheck it and it let my sims finally sit and have a bite to eat at a restaurant. :)

If you have Carl's Dine Out, you need to make a reservation first with the same counter you request a seat, and then request the seat. But, Dine Out is so buggy and takes too long that there could just be a bug messing with the mod too

I wanted to play a full round before turning aging on, and I don’t want to miss too much with my other families, so I’ll have it on for the active household. Carl’s Dine Out may be broken. I took it out and my sims had their table and their food right away!
