I live in California and I just bought the same truck with the 5.7 my savings was 19000 dollars and it’s a nice truck ! And who cares it has clothe seats! Very good video! Thanks
You are the best overall car reviewer imo. I watch Ben Hardy to get a rough quick idea of if I’d be interested in a vehicle, then I watch you if am actually serious about buying or want to see more depth about the vehicle. For example Ben Hardy doesn’t do highway driving which is important to me to know how well insulated the vehicle is. Basically, I think your reviews follow the best format/formula. Keep it up brotha. Hard work pays off
Ben's reviews are kind of rushed & lacking. Redline Reviews is the most professional car review channel IMO out of the many car review channels I follow.
@@703Speed : Thanks for the review. Just keep plugging away & you'll get there. I think the initial 100K subs is the most difficult to obtain just judging by watching other channels grow over the years.
This is a great review. You are absolute right to say that you would buy the 5.7L V8 Hemi. A 6,400lb towing capacity in a full size truck means that the truck is worthless as a truck to haul essentially anything but an empty light trailer. This truck would do fine as a good looking truck sitting in your driveway and driving to the grocery store, but that is about it.
@703Speed although it had a higher capacity its more important to note the payload which the RAM 1500 isn't the best at. I have an F150 which is limited to 7000 lbs towing (Ford is a nightmare on packages) which is enough to move another vehicle, uhauls and even a boat. Going to those higher tow numbers can be dangerous and truthfully you may run out of payload before you can even get to that max tow.
I find it interesting that with eTorque V6 you said 19 and 24 miles per gallon. But your trip odometer on your video only showed 15.6. that's no better than the non eTorque 4th gen I have now
Yeah I've had the 17 limited and now the 19 blacked out sport but I couldn't give a S#^% about towing I bought it cuz it's the best looking truck out there with the power to boot.
All trucks should come standard with the following, Fog Lights, Rear Sliding Window, Bluetooth, Tow Hooks, Tow Hitch, Cruise Control. Without these it about useless for a truck in my eyes. The fact that they all charge multiple thousands to get these basics is down right robbery.
Ford and Chevy still haven't managed to beat the 2019 RAM interior, and the 2025 is going to be even better. Chevy wants 74k for their high end trucks that come with a six speaker sound system, and lifter failures.
I have enjoyed watching some of your videos. I like your overall style of review. But, I must share constructive criticism from my opinion … Way too often you muffle the microphone, making it difficult to hear you. Then I raise my volume to hear you better and either you change position; causing the volume to spike, or a commercial will pop up which winds up being annoyingly loud because I needed to increase the volume to hear you. Please consider some other microphone method, for your own sake. I cannot be the only viewer making this observation. Keep up the comprehensive reviews 🤙
This one is the choice for constructioin workers for their daily job. If You want Ram as a daily I would choose it only with V8. Great review as always. Greetings
I just don't get all the 'blackout' editions, from all manufacturers. But then again, I am getting old, lol. I love chrome and stainless steel, and maybe some polished aluminum. To each his own, that's a great feature of America (for now).
Ram Night Editions are nice...but are Big Horns chinsey looking like that truck? The wheels, no keyless access, cloth seats & hologen lighting makes this unattractive. Ew.
Like everything else, far too expensive. RAMs rust like crazy in states that use salt. Too many open holes on the shell to let stuff in. A very cheaply made truck.
I have the same model and year as this video and at low speeds (5mph) truck shakes and its just annoying. Took it to the dealer and they told me it was nirmal WTF ... Only 800 miles on it and thinking about selling it alraady
I’ve watched a ton of car reviews you are by far one of the best reviewers out there! Great job keep up your great reviews!
Wow - thank you!
RAM 1500s are ideal for those that want a nice SUV with a good ride and a bed like me. I don’t tow, but having a truck with a bed is always useful.
Exactly
Yup, plus good for snowy rides to and from work and dump runs....
Bought this in 23. Darker gray pwr mirror and peddle. Did led bulbs myself for 100 bucks. Great truck zero issues. 33 gallon tank awesome range…
33G would probably be an option I'd get
Did you switch the halogen for LED bulbs? No need to install any adapter?
@@alexl6433 correct
@@nordlandak6853 awesome! Where did you buy them?
@@alexl6433 Amazon. Just put year make and servals will come up.

Thank you! I'm not growing as fast as I'd like, but I like to believe that slow and steady wins the race.. I guess time will tell

I tried to listen to Ben several times. He talks so fast I can't keep up with him.
Does the auto start and stop remember what it was set too after the truck has been shut off?
No
I love the night edition option. The paint mixes well with it.
Agreed!

Yup - did a video with a Laramie night with the 5.7 and it's to capacity was 2,000 more

Maybe someday, I will able to buy this truck.
You will - I believe in you
Being the last year I would definitely go with the legendary 5.7 Hemi just nostalgia for me
What are those things on the side of the hood that detract from the looks
Instant sub! great review. Love the package comparison part 100% 🎉🎉
Really good job with this video, very informative!
Thank you!
Imagine 60,000.00$ for vehicle and you get cloth seats 💺 😂
Id rather have cloth leather sux
And halogen headlights.
The cloth in this truck is really nice. Leather sucks imo.
You missing a v6 also
@@caldwell5078Yep leather and vinyl sucks in cars. Too cold in winter, too hot in summer. Average consumer is a dumdum just buying things for looks.
thank you! buying this truck but 5.7l if i can find it in stock

Its easy to install LED bulbs I did it to my Night edition. Fog and Headlights
Did you just switched the bulbs to LED? Where did you buy them from? I just got a 2024 Ram and I'd like to switch from halogen to LED
What’s the price for this one?
I had a 2020 1500 Laramie. V8 LED lights are worth it. I wish spent the additional $$$ for night package
Good presentation skills, well done.
Thank you!

Thanks bro
Wow...that is not a bad truck for the money. Great review.
Agreed.. Thank you!
Imagine having a 2024 vehicle paying $60k+ and still have halogen headlights and cloth seats

No keyless access ?
Not on this rig
That’s a no go for me.
Great review Kenny! I'm with you and would spend the extra $$ for the V8. Hoping you are doing great!
Thank you James - likewise!
Halogens should be illegal atp 🤨
iD LOVE TO BUY THIS EXACT TRUCK, i COULD LIKE BLIND SPOT MONITORING and would put LED lights in it.

Pass
Halogen lights in 2024? 🙃 I'll just go to your Laramie review lol.

Max towing of 6,400?? My midsize truck handles more than that. Wow...
What's up new cuz!!!
What’s up brotha!!
First step to save money is don't order the overpriced night edition option.
I just got mines for 45k
