@@waynesrc1958 well older than me. I’m old enough to understand your sentiment, but not old enough to enjoy my free time. It took a decade of work to dig myself out of poverty enough to be able to afford to fly aircraft, and taking to the skies is the only thing that makes me happy. The happiest thing I can imagine is being surrounded by my aircraft and having a hard time deciding which to fly that day. So in a way, you’re living the dream. To me, your life is what success looks like.
Good unboxing. I agree the wing cover should have been made out of plastic. Other than that looks like a well built plane, How will it fly is the only question in my mind with the wings swept. The CG on the B-1B X-Fly goes to nose heavy so you have to have a mix with up elevator to counter the wing sweep or be ready to do it as the wings sweep and hold pressure to keep it level. I opted for the mix. Good luck on the maiden and enjoyed watching.
Thanks Tug, we'll have to see, there is no mention of mixing in the Manual except for Flap/Elevator. Having issues with the Gyro so I'm not sure when the maiden will be.
I am not sure about the included Gyro I know I skipped the X-Fly Gyro and used a AR8061T Spektrum and used that gyro no issues then. I hope you get it figured out and hope your wing sweep goes smoothly. I do know I would do my first wing sweep very high 300 feet at least incased you have severe alpha so you have time to recover. Good Luck.@@waynesrc1958
@@DronemanJoeRc In basic gain mode the green light on, my rudder servos turn all the way to the right and chatter. In auto level mode the blue light ,all the control surfaces move on there own with the plane sitting still on the work table. In gyro off mode the Rudder servos return to center and all the control surfaces work correctly including the Rudder servos.
@@waynesrc1958 what receiver are you using? Im going to use a lemon 10 chan but I wont activate the gyro. so what receiver are you using bc it seem like there is conflicting gyro's but I may be wrong tell me more.
@@DronemanJoeRc I’m using a Spektrum AR8020T no Gyro, so that’s not the problem.I am going to try a different receiver see if that makes a difference, but I doubt it.
I hope to be like this when I get old. Planes everywhere, and my only worries are the wind and my batteries being charged.
Who are you calling old 😂 yes being old & retired has it benefits.
