Thanks for another great video! I've noticed that since switching to a WFPB diet (since this last January), I haven't had the stomach aches either. Last week though, I did try a Thai tofu dish where I used a bottled coconut peanut sauce that really did not agree with me - switched back the next day to only stuff I made and fixed the problem! Buying groceries is indeed much cheaper as well. I shop at Walmart and get all the fresh items, almond milk, nuts and beans for around $100 a week. They even have dried goji berries, for like $15, but I still haven't tried those yet ;-)

That's great that you've been experiencing these benefits! It sounds like that sauce was super fatty, so maybe that could be the cause of the discomfort (especially with a larger portion). I'll have to try the "cheaper" goji berries at Wal-Mart and see if they're worth it 😂 Thanks so much for your support 🙌

Hi Peter..... Hope you've had a good weekend. At first, I thought this would be so expensive..... but eating whole food, plant based completely..... and keeping it SUPER simple, I have ended up saving SO much money!!! I don't buy any processed foods at all! I am on day #136 now!!!

Wow that's so great! Yes the whole foods, especially when batched together, can be sooo much cheaper. And what an impressive streak of no processed foods! How have you been feeling on this journey?

@@theplantbasedteacher ..... Thanks Peter. I am feeling AMAZING within, so clean! I had originally started this, in hopes that it would help with pain, rejuvenating my cells, etc, in my spine-feet issue. I have not felt any difference in pain yet, but I am going to keep at this, just because I feel SO good, and hopefully it will eventually help the other too 😊

I spend about 150 a week for me and my husband (I cook two of his meals during the week, dinner and lunch at work). We are not super whole food tho, I like my impossible meatballs, beyond steak and just egg. Oatly is also not the cheapest oat milk, but I don’t mind spending a little more on groceries. The most important thing for me is to make it easier on myself, and enjoying what I eat. Being vegan in the Midwest is already hard enough. I’m doing this for life, I wanna remain vegan.

That's so great that you've put together a system that works for you!
If it's alright, I recommend checking out my video called "Ultimate Beginner's Guide to a Plant-Based Diet". If you want to do this for life, I think that'll be a great foundation to help you out with it!
If you ever have questions feel free to reach out. More than happy to help you on your journey :)

@@theplantbasedteacher I wouldn’t say we are beginners, we have been vegan for three years already. The important thing is that we are satisfied by the foods we eat, we both are in the ideal BMI range (My BMI is 20.5 and he has even less body fat than me), we don’t have any health conditions, so we seem to be doing fine in our late 30s. We do this for animal rights reasons, first and foremost, but we also care about our health. I think that some of these vegan foods are fine to eat in moderation, it’s not an all or nothing.
