Hello Brandon, I am a 13 year old. I live in Northern New Jersey and that night I was on Route 22 with my family. We noticed Route 22 was empty and we were watching what we thought was heat lightning but it was thunder lightning while we were placing our Wendy’s order. Meanwhile, at home, my IPad was going off (I’m using it to type this comment right now) and it was saying from half of six weather apps I have we are under a Tornado Warning. I only noticed that when we got home. The tornado followed us on the highway as we got home and my dad said “There’s no tornado occurring” and I was yelling tearfully in fear “A TORNADO WARNING MEANS A TORNADO IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!” We went to the basement and Mom tracked the storm with Accuweather. I used my weather apps and it was 9:30 at night. The storm ended at 10:10 PM. It was the only time a tornado hit during my lifetime that I went through. The next day, everyone at school said “No tornado happened” and I told them that a tornado warning means there is a tornado occurring now. Anyway, I saw the video where you were hit by the El Reno tornado. RIP Tim Samaras, Paul Samaras, and Carl Young.
