I love your videos. Before my india trip last year I watched many of your vlogs to learn food and local cultures. And I ended up enjoy ing my travel a lot.😊
I tried vada, idli, sambar, and coconut chutney once in South Florida and I just adored it! Especially the vada dipped in the sambar! I have had masala dosa and I have made different kinds of dosas, myself. Absolutely my favorite Indian foods. I cannot WAIT to visit India when I retire!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hyderabad arguably has the best food in India or arguably in the world, cause I was in a perception that tamilnadu has the best south Indian food but when I lived in tamilnadu I was shocked that idlies were rock hard and instead of coconut chutney they eat sambar more which is also no nice compared to Hyderabad. Bangalore also has nice food but nothing can top Hyderabad food.
In the 50s, 60s n 70s, many families from Thamilanadu and Karnataka, that would live on hotel business, shifted their families to Andhra and Telangana states for a better livelihood. Thats why this idli dosai culture got assimilated to our native culture and has thus become an inseperable one of our society. Hyd, being a metro city , is known for its mixed culture.
Thats bullshit The biryani in hyderabad, which is so hyped itself is disappointment. There are so many dishes which are delicious. But not the best if compared to other places.
Your knowledge of Indian food is getting perfect. Indeed they are called bonda in some places..I worked and studied in Hyderabad for good part of my life...love the city.
I’m happy to see you enjoying South Indian delicacies. Try also ‘Mandi’ where all family sit around one plate n eat together the specially prepared biryani. You will enjoy it. I must say that you are very brave and passionate about travelling. Travelling with little kids is not an easy job. Please take care of yourself and the kids because the summer is around the corner.
Fantastic, Switzerland is famous for its rich varieties of Chocolate. The round deep fried is Mysore Bonda & the other donut shape is Crispy Vada, idly, dosa - everything look so fresh & good like home prepared breakfast & ur favourite South Indian food.👌👏😋👍
Welcome to Hyderabad. This is good place to explore but as this is summer take care of yourself/wife and kids. Also please try to collab with any other UA-camr(when they are in same city, to increase reach) because the views are less for you great content and we wish you to evolve and earn money
Mysore Bajji OMG.. I am from Sydney recently been to my home town here and I had this almost every single day with loads of different chutneys. I can get good biryani in Sydney but no one sells good mysore bajji so I miss this a Lott, probably something unique to Telugu and Karnataka states. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside served hot .. heaven !!
Welcome back to India. Congrats Sir for receiving the UA-cam Silver Play button Certificate & I saw ur unboxing video at ur in-laws house in Switzerland. I think this is the main reason u all visited ur Native Country & it would have been a proud privilege to receive & open it at ur home there. U all celebrated by ur Wife baking a super delicious cake. May I know what flavour cake was it? Super delucious South Indian breakfast which u all loved it & enjoyed eating all the items. Take care. All the best.👌👏😋👍🙏🎊🎉🌹🎂🍰🎈🍬🎁
There is no north-south competition in cuisines. People here in northern India frequently consume dishes from southern India. South Indian restaurants are always crowded here in Delhi and other northern Indian cities. At times, we also prepare South Indian cuisines which we relatively easily can, like Idlee, Upmaa, Appam, Naariyal chatnee, etc. at our homes. Even though these cuisines are considered leisure cuisines here- in the sense that these foods are not a part of the routine diet in northern India- they are widely acknowledged here to be healthier leisure cuisines than the North Indian leisure foods that use a lot of oil.
I grew up in Hyd. I completely agree with you. A lot of restaurants can’t match the street food taste and freshness. None of these vendors disappointed me so far. Have fun and enjoy your stay.
Very tasty and verities of breakfast in Hyderabad. This types of variety of street breakfast you can get only in few countries like India. Cheap and best street food makes common Indian people life happy. You are Welcome to India.😊
Street food is great in Hyderabad. Be sure to tour the Financial District and Hitec City. You will see the modern city of Hyderabad - all built from scratch in the last 10+ years. You were in the older city last year.
Welcome back to india sir. My earnest advice to you is to try to eat lots of fruits like apples, oranges, pomegranates as you a lot of street foods, these fruits will nulify these foods and aids digestion. Avoid street foods and can try home made foods at your homestays by your residents. Also while you are having tea, simultaneously you may order a warm milk to tea vendor for baby tiger😊
i just had an indian breakfast too in omaha at home but mine was goat korma with steamed vegetables and chai, different than you guys had but yours was fantastic, i wish i could try streat food from india in India . well , enjoy your time in Hyderabad
5:32 Street food of India is never bad 😂 Infact its too good 😋 Its just that you have to be careful of where you are eating it 😅 and how much you are eating If its freshly prepared & clean, you are good to go.
@@yvesthesleeve Just now had Dosa and Idli from Rameshwaram 🙂 seeing you savor it. Dosa is quite different in Bengaluru than Hyderabad. I also like other Dosa's from the Srirangam Cafe, The Filter Coffee, Vidyarthi Bhavan, CTR, Davangere Benne Dosa in HSR. All are different and great. Should try them all when in Bengaluru
Tq for loving Indian breakfast and food. Vada main ingredient is Black gram after removing top black layer and soaked night and morning it is put in wet grinder and put jeera & coconut pieces and prepared
Wonderful that all of you have a good sleep after that sleeper bus ride. What a great street food breakfast you guys have. The foods look really yummy. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to see more of Hyderabad.
@@yvesthesleeveAre you aware of what happened to the the lady biker from Brazil, who was travelling with her husband in the state of Jharkhand? Take care when travelling in that country.
They dont call it bonda, thats a slightly different variety. This is Mysore bajje or Mysore bonda or also known as Goli Bajje which is mainly originating from Mangalore ( a place youve visited). It's rare to find it outside Mangalore :)
Idli is rice + udad dal, carbs + protein, wada is pure udad dal, high in protein, coconut chutney is protein, so this is perfect combination for a meal
Your breakfast the shape looked like Mysore bonda but the inside texture looked like panniharam. Mysore bonda is famous with aloo and masala and panniharam is like medhu vada white and all nice.
Please try tasting chutneys other than coconut chutney especially ginger chutney tomato chutney etc. Mysore bajji is super with a combination of coconut and ginger chutney.
As a native Hindi speaker from Delhi, I consider Idlee and Coconut chatnee to be among the greatest of the greatest foods ever invented by humankind. I can binge on Idlee and Cononut chatnee all my life, limited only by my stomach capacity. I am so grateful to my fellow compatriots from Peninsular India and our Indian ancestors from that region for gifting us such an incredible legacy! If someone asks me to list the best food from northern India, I would say Chhole-Bhatoore. And from southern India, my recommendation will be Idlee-Naariyal chatnee. Naariyal (Coconut) chatnee is the best dip ever! It is tasty and healthy at the same time! It clearly beats the Pudeenaa (Mint) chatnee frequently used in northern India, without any doubt!
How do you rate the hyderabadi biryani of hyderabad compared to the "hyderabadi biryani" Sold every where else in the country.
