You mind putting in the part number for all the seals?

Great job!!!! Do you know the torque specs on bolts to the front diff. On the driverside? Mine keeps loosening up . I’m guessing I did not torque them when I did the oil pan gasket.. I have a 2008 335xi coupe. N54🤔. Thanks for any info👍

Thank you!! I do not know the torque specs on the bolts. Not saying my way is the right way, but unless I'm torquing engine components/heads, I usually do it by feel. Fortunately, I've broken enough bolts back in the day to know when to stop. You may be able to get that info from a BMW dealership, when I was sourcing gaskets the parts guy was cool and he texted me pictures/etc.

So how do you put on the new seals? You didn’t show how you pressed them but your title states seal replacement. I didn’t see you press in the new seals.

Excellent question, when I start going over the tools, the black box has a set of seal punches in them. You use the handle and the metal disk to drive the seals in, not very difficult at all.

@@garagegrunt8154unfortunately I don’t have the tool to press the seal in. I’m swapping out my front driver side cv axle on my e90 x drive. I have a new seal but not the tool. Do you know if there’s another way to install the seal without the tool? Thanks in advance!

@@iamurnamann8662 There is, you can use anything with a flat tip to drive the seal in but the chances of damaging that seal are high. You can see if autozone has the toolset to rent or you can pick up a set at Harbor freight for like $30 if I remember correctly. If you do work on your car you will use this toolset again, it’s a good investment.
