Liberty City Stories def brought back some memories! Playing that as a 10 year old is crazy to me now lol. I never did play Vice City Stories because I started saving to buy a 360 but I loved Vice City on PS2 and played it and San Andreas almost every day after school. Thanks for uploading this, makes me want to buy another PSP!

I remember I had liberty city stories and traded with a buddy for vice city stories, amazing games, and it was mindblowing at the time to think that a GTA was on a handheld. I tend to forget that when these games were out, that’s all we knew of GTA before GTA 4. It’s nice to look back and see how far the series has come and gaming as a whole.
@@brandoncortes6445I was blown away the first time I played LCS , the fact you could stick some headphones into the PSP and wherever you were get lost in a GTA world was a game changer!
I was going to include the talk shows but would have to change the channel for every car I got into , thought it would slow the flow of each game so I played it safe 😂
I'd actually love to see it remade in the liberty city style with proper cutscenes , I like the art style but found it a bit awkward when actually playing 😂

I like all of your videos, including the kinda long Simpsons hit and run so wouldn't mind seeing a mixture of each. Some game recommendations I can think of to check out that might kinda hit your style are: Whiplash - Xbox - Would love to see this one specifically I-ninja - GameCube Spyro Sly Cooper The list goes on of course. Just some wacky or nostalgic games for me.

That's true , I think it's more the memories attached to the game and the fact I was blown away with LCS as it was the first time they fit a gta game on a psp that make it rank so high for me

Fun Fact they actually started to work on a San Andreas Stories and got pretty far along in the story development and map development but they cancelled it to focus on working on GTA IV however some awesome fans have been working to restore and finish the game as a mod for San Andreas I think they have a playable version out already as well but I don't think they're anywhere near finished making it however it might also be cancelled knowing how rockstar is with takedowns of prominent projects like that
That's very interesting! I remember reading in a PlayStation magazine back then that work was happening on a San Andreas stories but that rockstar hadn't officially confirmed and then the rumour died out . Would have been awesome if it made it to the vita with the extra power !

I remember spamming the code up down left right x x l r (money cheat) till I get 999999😂😂 Such a shame though that both LCS and CTW received mobile ports while VCS doesn't. Well, maybe because of the licence thing regarding on the appearance of Phil Collins but yeah, still such a pity:(

These games should get the same definitive edition treatment the trilogy got, imo they’re both better games (lcs compared to gta 3 & vcs compared to vc).
i am not at all a fan of chinatown but the psp games definitely aged well in terms of basically everything, that console has a lot of gems that never left it though(some of my faves being the yugioh tag force games which i hoped would be in the early days collection) but a lot of somy 1st party has games stuck there to this day and its a shame
Yeah it's definitely not competing with the others for me as they're full GTA experiences, but I give Rockstar at the time credit for trying to bring GTA to a DS in a fresh way. It's true the PSP had some bangers that never resurfaced after the console lost relevance

Btw you can play both stories games on PS2 as well as they came out with PS2 ports about a year after VCS came out
I played this game with 10y old too, but on my cousin psp
I have all three of these in my collection, I even have Chinatown on the DS too.
Awesome! they are great games that deserve more love these days!
I do also I still have my original copies of all except for chinatown cause I didn't know at the time it existed so I downloaded it on the psp

Head Radio and Lips 106 are completely YT-friendly. Because it's original content, made especially for game.

One of the best things about gta 3 and gta lcs is you can listen to one music radio without getting copyright

Chinatown wars has always been my favorite , hopefully one day it gets a remaster and port to switch .

VCS and Chinatown Wars both are very unique but i didn't find anything new in LCS

I actually love the choice of songs in GTA LCS. Just tune in to Radio Del Mundo and listen to Dum Maaro Dum song of Asha Bhosle in it

There is a fan made mod for liberty city stories. GTA Sindacco chronicles it’s an amazing mod with voiced ai characters that don’t break immersion.

GTA: VCS is good on PSP or PS2?
It's good on both, PS2 has the better controls and you can mod the PSP version to have PS2 quality assets
They are great games, but I recommend playing liberty city stories and vice city stories on ps2 they are better in my opinion
