I thoroughly enjoyed your film from one place I know to another, I hope one day to make this trip myself in my own boat. Looking forward to the next video, thank you , Bob .
Thank you for your good words and I am glad, that you enjoyed it. If you wait for good weather and sea conditions, it wouln't be a difficult sailing. Just be patient. If I would live near, I would do it again and hope for these wonderful creatures to join me again. BTW... it was on 1st of May 2022, when we crossed Bristol Bay, perhaps the dolphins are there around that date. Happy Easter days! Dieter
Hoi Dieter, I just got another skiff of snow here and it’s still going. With every new episode you are loosening up and your YouTubing gets better and better. Congratulations! I don‘t think I could handle it, I do a little filming myself and know how hard it is, particularly the editing part there after. To me your videos are very educational, thank you! Great to have such experienced captain and tutor at your side to learn the ropes. I‘m looking very much forward to your next video! You and your „crew“ the very best and always a handful water under your keel!🫶🇨🇭🇨🇦 🇳🇴
Thank you very much for these positive words. I am glad, you like my videos and can profit from them. I am trying to learn more every time, but not always I am successful and it takes many hours to get a video done. All the more I am grateful for every subscriber and hope to get to the minimum goal of 1000 as soon as possible. You can expect to get one new video about every week. Wishing you and your family happy Easter holidays Dieter
Dieter, given the fact that you like to reach 1000 subscribers asap, if it would be me, I would try to do the following: Grand Banks is likely the most popular Trawler brand out there, for good reason! 1. Is there an association? Or are there any FB groups of owners and enthusiasts? What do they talk about? Maintenance, Travel…? Maybe they like to show their baby & their big pride their Grand Banks or perhaps they like to exchange tips and tricks? That needs to be researched! That would be one way to build up subscribers if you could cater to a group like this. I‘m a retiree who loves to follow adventures of your kind another group of potential subscribers!😉 Here some UA-camrs I have subscribed to: MAGIC CARPET, FAIR ISLE, FOLLOW THE BOAT, ESCAPE TO RURAL FRANCE, THE CHATEAU DIARIES this are some very successful UA-camrs, always interesting to have a glance at how they do it! I would love to see your channel grow, I enjoy following your ideas, dreams and realities of retirement life.
Thanks for your advice. Actually, I already have published one or two of my videos on Grand Banks Facebook sites already and will do again :-) Wishing you happy Easter days! Dieter
Thank you for your comments. Usually, we sailed with about 8 kt, but when the waves were higher, we had to reduce to about 7 kt. This was during out journey from France to Norway. Now in Norway, I usually take it easy with max 6 - 7 kt, often only 5 kt to enjoy the scenery.
Wow, love how the dolphins joined your journey. What a view!
