"The LinnDrum (often incorrectly referred to as the LM-2) is a drum machine manufactured by Linn Electronics between 1982 and 1985. About 5,000 units were sold.
Its high-quality samples, flexibility and affordability made the LinnDrum popular; it sold far more units than its predecessor (the LM-1) and its successor (the Linn 9000) combined. Roger Linn re-used the moniker on the LinnDrum Midistudio and the Roger Linn Designs' LinnDrum II. The LinnDrum was used on many recordings throughout the 1980s, including international hits such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax", a-Ha's "Take On Me", Harold Faltermeyer's "Axel F", Billy Idol's "Eyes Without a Face", Deniece Williams's "Let's Hear It for the Boy", and Madonna's "Lucky Star"."

Mega Sounds!!!!💥💥💥💥❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful! I wanted one of these back in the day but couldn't afford one. I understand the attraction of vintage gear but prefer to stick to more reliable modern gear. Lovely to see this.
synth king let us know when you get the behringer linn drum
Almost as popular and well used as the 808. Nothing to sneeze at.
Is there any possible way to contact you?
you're doing it
@Synth Reaper: Please contact me via Facebook „Bernd Brüning“
@@Bernd_Bruening Thank you.
How do you think the vst's Linndrum compare to the real thing soundwise? Maybe you can do a comparison with the Vprom?
I would love to do a comparison, but I haven’t got the Vprom plugin.
@@Bernd_Bruening It is only 45 euros and you can load DMX and Drumtraks EPROMS in it too, So that is why I purchased it, otherwise I would go for the real thing, unfortunately I havent the money and most of them second hand have some issues. I am not affiliated with Vprom by any means. Just curious how it would stand against the real Linn. Nobody has done it before. But I bet the hardware version sounds better ;) www.alyjameslab.com/alyjameslabvlinn.html
@@LuddyVonBeat Whow, what a faithful recreation of the LinnDrum. They put a lot of efforts into recreating the CEM3320 filter and the AM6070 digital to analog converter. The ability to load original eprom binary files is just amazing. Interesting plugin !
@@Bernd_Bruening Yes I thought the same, Seems a faithfull and acurate recreation. So far I like the sounds
