Nice tutorial. If it had been measured up and worked out first it would have been right smart. For eyeballing, it is top notch work! Jealous of your skills sir! With a few chains a lovely little dutch oven will hang above a fire and hopefully cook some gorgeous grub. The client should be right pleased with this.
Nice job. I made a few of these and put them on Etsy last year, never did sell one. I think they are awesome, but people may not even know what they do. I will make some tripods this summer for camping and they will get used then. Thanks for the demo. I have watched and subed to your channel before. Thanks for the sub. TTYL.....
Wonderful work is always Gary. I did have a question? I know that you had issues with your hands and probably still do but does that copper bracelet help at all? Just curious I was actually thinking about making one
@@garyhuston lol very true!! I was just curious. I know copper has some sort of medicinal property's. Well sir, forge on and ill catch you on the next video. Thanks again sir, love the channel :)💪👏👏
Your smithing videos are still my favorite. A joy to watch you work the metal.
I could watch you do this all day. Beautiful work. Cheers from Houston
It's a surprise seeing gary not do farrier vids but it's a welcome surprise
Nice job Gary it’s nice to see an old timer turning eyes around the anvil horn freehand the way it used to be done
Here in Tennessee, USA we call the curly cue a finial. A finial is an ornament at the top, end, or corner of an object. Love your videos.
Very well done! Clean and simple design is hard to beat.
Thank you!
Looks great Gary. Love how the metal curves out around the holes. You make it all look so easy!

Sempre muito bem feito suas criações.
You did much better than my first time. Does anyone still refer to these as a "hake"?
Is there any benefit to punching, rather than drilling, the holes?
Of course, you get extra material around the holes with punching.
Wonderful work is always Gary. I did have a question? I know that you had issues with your hands and probably still do but does that copper bracelet help at all? Just curious I was actually thinking about making one
Not really sure but it certainly doesn't make it any worse!

How long does it normally take to heat the flat bar.
That depends on how fast I have the blower going, it could be seconds or minutes!
